We bought this vacuum and we used probably 4 times in our above ground pool. Worked fine until we tried to use again and it didn’t work. We tried a couple of times more but it didn’t work. We couldn’t return it because the return window was closed. Waste of money.

This has been a game changer, and I should've bought a pool vac sooner. I charged the vacuum as indicated and it was good to go. Assembly was very easy...and so far so good. I haven't had to use it for an extended period of time so I can't comment if it will last the actual runtime indicated (60 minutes). I've used this pool vac twice and I've had no issues. Cleaning the filter is easy. Our pool is next to a California Pepper Tree, which drops leaves into the pool all day, every day. This vacuum makes it easy to clean up the pool, and in particular the spa, where there is no skimmer. Speaking of skimmer - this vacuum allows me to suck up the leaves where the skimmer doesn't reach. Suction on this device is pretty good, and it was hard to pass up the price (bought it for $99.99). Seems to me that most of the vacuums I saw on here are all basically the same, so for me it really came down to the price on why I chose this model (as well as reading the reviews). My only some what negative comment (more of an observation) is I would've like to see the handle/brush head be able to pivot a bit more and not just back and forth (if this makes any sense). A longer pole would be beneficial as well. Not a big deal though on both of these points; I highly recommend this vacuum. Thanks for reading and I hope this review helps you. Happy cleaning!

Got this on Friday Sept. 13, 2024. We had the wind and remnants of Hurricane Francine come through with two days of high winds. My 30k gallon pool looked like a compost pile. I used a leaf rack to get the big stuff out while I charged the unit. My first use was ok using the extendable pole it came with. Not much reach but cleaned the steps nicely. Sat. Without recharging I attached it to one of my standard pool poles and went into the diving well. It filled up pretty quick but was doing a good job. I was not expecting much due to the amount and size of the leaves. I cleaned it up, emptied the bag, and returned to cleaning. This time I used it more like my skimmer attached manual vacuum. Slow and easy, and it is really doing a good job. Almost clean enough to switch to the finer mesh bag.If it continues to work like this, my original plan of using it for light clean ups in between robot cleans should be a walk in the park.I will edit this review as I learn more.Based on my first use I would recommend it if you want something to do what I do and yet do heavier cleaning as well.Edit: I have used this many times now and really like it.

Works great in our above ground pool. Fast charging, long battery life, no leaking. Used the heavier filter for dirt and debris. Cut my vacuuming time in half. Easy cleaning after each use and durable. Extension pole is a plus and installation was a breeze. Highly recommend and is reasonably priced.

Like you, I usually read reviews and do my research prior to making a purchase on Amazon. For this product, I decided to take a “risk” and try it out given the limited number of reviews. There was a similar product that was a #1 best seller with fantastic reviews but was 30W versus 40W, equating to slightly less suction power. I appreciated the fact that this model advertised the ability to pick up underwater gravel (indicating strong underwater suction power). so I went for it. As a result, I am very happy with this purchase! It comes with two different vacuum mesh bags (one for larger heavier objects like stones and one that can pick up fine sediment and sand). The lightweight mesh bag for stones comes pre-installed. My pool has mostly sand and pine tree debris so I immediately switched out the filter bag to the sand one. I am VERY impressed with the power and run time of this vacuum! My pool looked clean, with only a few small specks here and there. However, when I emptied the bag for the first time (washable with a hose), it was filled with sand, bugs, and all sorts of muddy disgusting debris. The vacuum never “timed out” or lost power after a solid 30 minutes of vacuuming. The attachment rolling brush for the bottom is awesome. I like the fact that it seems to brush the bottom removing stuck on filth. The attachable extended pole is very helpful and is a universal size, so it attaches to my blue mesh skimmer. The vacuum also comes with an attachable handle and I have actually went swimming with this unit, getting up close and personal with its suction power. It’s awesome!I have found that you must keep the unit running and quickly place your hand over the intake before turning off to prevent reflux of debris from the intake. It has a back flow preventer, but still some small amount gets by if you turn it off in the water and proceed to pull it out.Overall, this is a pool cleaning game changer. Highly recommend!

Worked great for the 1st 3times I used it. It picked up so much little debris. Was awesome! Then I charged it 3days later, it wouldn’t turn on, I tapped on the sides, put it upside down, dirty water came out of the sealed(motor) area, then it ran on its own, rather the on or off switch was on. I could not get it to shut off, after running a bit. It finally shut off. Since it was dry, I think the motor burt up. 2days later, I tried to charge it, when I plugged it into the charger, it turned on, as I was plugging the charger in. Guess I’ll call the manufacturer, and see what they say. Sucks.. because it picked up so much when it worked

I am really pleased with this vacuum. Purchased for using in our hot tub, I took off one star because it was not mentioned in the description that you can only use it in temperatures up to 95 degrees. It has good suction and gets the larger as well as smaller bits including sand. It’s easy to use and easier to clean the catch net. I have not used it for more than fifteen minutes but it keeps strong suction for at least that long. Quick and easy to charge with one plug in adaptor.
