The product is a decent enough item, but it is made from lower quality plastic. It said that the lid is easy to remove, however the one I received refused to come off. I had to resort to gently prying it up and finally I got it off. It would be easy to break the little tabs off the lid. The price is a lot cheaper than the big box stores but not as good quality.

The plastic is heavy duty and seems like it will last for a while. The capacity will hold several large pucks with no problems. The amount of water the chlorine contacts is adjustable. It has a hook if it is desired to tie in one place. And the lid is secure but easy to open.

This is an inexpensive pool tablet dispenser. It fits one or two 3" tablets with no issue.The plastic is on the thin side but the big question is how long will it hold up with constant UV rays from the sun hitting it?I have similar type float from w-mart that lasted about 2 years max before the lid or side cracked and broke.For the price I hope I will get 2 years out of this but we will see.Honestly, with two gallons of pool chlorine at $12 now I would not even be mad if this cracked in 1 year.

Our old chlorine bob was looking quite worn after sitting in the hot sun for over a year. I ordered this one to replace it. It’s the same basic chlorine bob but this one collapses for storage if you’re not using it. Once extended, it’s the perfect size for putting in a few bricks of 3” chlorine. It has adjustable flow vents which is convenient but I normally just leave them open. This simple chlorine floater is pretty much ideal - just put the tablets in and let it do its thing, releasing the chlorine over time. I keep it floating around in the spa so it doesn’t block the pool skimmer.

The lid is VERY tight. So to open it and add chlorine you are going to need to use two hands to hold the base and twist and pull the lid out. Not so easy with wet hands. In contrast the previous floater I had could be opened with one hand and without taking the base out of the water.2. Minor gripe but it floats fairly high up even with three 3" tabs inside. The water level is at the white plastic part of the floater rather than the blue part. That means it is eventually going to get a dirty "scum ring" on the white plastic.
