I have had this pump for almost 2 years and it does it's work! Very impressed. I am giving it 5 stars. The only thing about it is the top piece kept getting clogged and I just kept it off. Overall, doing a once a week clean to the filters, it has held up past my expectations! I highly recommend thus product!

We bought this for our 150 gallon pond with 3 shibunkin goldfishes to keep up with the filtration and it's been working great! We used to have a filter that had less GPH but this did the trick in helping keep the water clear and have a good stream for oxygenation!It was also very easy to install and it's also easy to disassemble for cleaning. The GPH can be adjusted so I used to lower settings to not cause too many waves for the fishes.Overall, would purchase again!

I'm a weirdo. When I bought my house, there was a bathtub in the backyard. So we dug a hole and put the bathtub in it as our pond. There's also a tractor tire in my yard, which was great as a sandbox when we moved in 4 years ago, but now my children are all teenagers and who needs a sandbox anymore? So at a higher elevation, we dug another hole for the tire and installed a pond liner. This filter is great! It sits in the bathtub and has a beautiful little fountain in the tub. The side attachment runs water up to the water feature at the tire pond. The overflow cascades down our artificial stream back to the bathtub. This little filter does a magnificent job. I do have to open it about once a week to clean the filters and the little balls, and about daily I need to unscrew the fountain attachment to clean it. In all fairness, I have four children, six dogs, eight cats, and forty or so chickens, all of whom are convinced the bathtub is their water source. There is also a tree over the fountain. It means there's a lot of debris thrown into the tub, so this filter definitely gets its workout. In spite of this, the water is crystal clear and has kept the bluegill that my boys added alive through the summer. The only complaint I could have is how it tries to float, but that was easily fixed with a heavy weight in the filter box.

It works well. We've had it about a month now and it's working as it should. I would like to have had a choice of the fountain head. I love the one that came with it but with a small pond it splashes out and I have to add water. It makes it more like a fountain and is very pretty working so that part I love. I personally like the fountain head "bubble" that's smooth and doesn't splash out as much. It would be nice to have the choice especially we've had such heat this summer so far that the water evaporates along with it splashing out. I could switch them out as needed or wanted. Becky

We have an indoor pond and needed good filter to keep it clean and flowing. This kit for price is amazing. The water foutain(different settings) airates the water. The filter does 300gallons or so of filtering. It looks nice in center. It took 5’min to assemble. Highly recommend it. We only have guppies and 5 koi. It seems to keep the water clear after 5 days. I will update if we grow the fish and hownit handles more. Good product.

I have always created my own pond basket to try to protect a pump from yard debris, particularly leaves. But it is not full proof and eventually it fails, which is why I had to purchase this pump and filter. I had to use rocks to weigh down the filter box (otherwise it floats) and I had some serious difficulty getting the top of the filter box to stay cleated down, but other than that, it was easy to set up and install, seems to be a good design to protect the pump against debris and is working great so far. But a 16 ft power cord? This is a pond filter and pump, not a tabletop fountain pump. How many ponds are located within 16 ft of an electrical outlet??? That was annoying. Even my pond heater has a longer power cord ...

Got this to filter a small man made duck pond of 200 gallons. Not bad, but not great. It does help filter, and does pull some of the dirt out of the water as evidenced when I clean it, but water is FAR from clean and clear. I need to put at least two bricks on top of it to keep it from floating and laying sideways, so that has to impact water flow into it. Ducks knock it over often. If I anchor it to a heavy rock or cement slab, it sticks up too high. I will have to come up with a solution to make it usable, but NOT plug and play

I got this filter for my 100-gal container "pond." It was easy to assemble and comes with an attachment that produces a pretty fountain effect. Seems to do a good job. Two minor issues: First, I had to weigh it down with a rock, and it still scoots around a bit. Second, the fountain is really designed for a larger pond than mine. As a result, a little water gets sprayed outside the container and I have to keep refilling it. But that's specific to my situation.
