The beads are harder to reshape with hot water. But more durable than other poly beads I have used.

This purchase was to introduce me to this technology. Had not a clue about it going in, just what could be gleaned from the site info. offerings got my curiosity. The first small batch to work with, just handling, squeezing, punching, etc. was very revealing about possible applications. When the sample cooled and was able to test its durability, cracking potential, hardness, stretch, scratch resistance, contact with solvents like acetone, gasoline, etc., it immediately came to mind a first application, ureka moment!Being an old guy, it has become my fate to be losing several teeth. You got it! Amazing how easily it is to take a small dab of melted material and form into the void of the missing tooth, allow to cool in place, while plyable enough to getting the bit rite, able to remove easily, adjust, trim, mold, all good! Good for cosmetic purposes, does not eat well. Sure has more appeal than an empty spot in ones dentures!I am eagerly looking forward to the next application and can say it is a 5 star investment for me, a tinkerer's dream material!

No one would suspect that the entire surface beneath the stain is a hand moldable thermoplastic. I could have made the entire surface smooth. As you can see in the photo, part of the source is smooth. But, inspired by burle wood,I sought to produce something more visually interesting. I used Minwax and Varathane wood stains. Then applied a 2 or 3 layers of Minwax Polycrylic (this protects the stain), lightly! sanding between coats. For additional protection, after allowing the last coat the dry for 24 hours, followed by another very light sanding, I applied 2 or 3 coats of Zar Poly OMU (oil modified polyurethane). I am very pleased with the result. With Polymorph, one is only limited by one's imagination.

I have uses for products that have to be in my mouth for certain things and I will tell you this company this product is the only one I will ever use! The story behind that is that a lot of these beads say that they are the same ingredient but if you research online you will see that they can be made in different ways little tweaks and they can be made with less of this and more of that! If you need something that's going to be solid and work right for you and not be sticky and slimy while you're trying to make it! You have a winner! Also I have tried pretty much every brand and every type out there and made my way back to this product because all the other ones end up in the garbage because they do not work

I bought these in october to make some vampire fangs (unrelated to halloween lol).i was very happy with these. they can be kind of fiddly to fit to your teeth, and required many reshapings in order to fit to my teeth. also, because these are WHITE-white, you'll either need to paint, then seal them (i did mine with acrylic paint, then clear nail polish that i left for a few days). Or, you can make a full top and bottom row to match, but i think these still look weird.i only used like, 3 teaspoons, so i have SO MUCH left. great value for money here.

I got this in order to make figures using some molds I have. And it works wonders. It is true that the water has to be very hot to work with it. So if you cant handle the heat, then polymorph is not for you.On top of that, the plastic once molded into whatever you want is extremely hard. So it's definitely good for projects where you don't want it to break. The only thing I wish the container would have is a brief explanation on how to dye the plastic so that the color sticks. But I guess YouTube is for that

My daughter used this to create some awesome additions to dinosaur masks for her Halloween costume. She created teeth, horns and spikes. She also created a knife from it as a prop. It is easy to use and sculpt. I was afraid that it would melt in shipment due to living in Florida. It did not melt until we heated it as per the instructions. It was easy to use and if a mistake is made and it hardens you can reheat it to sculpt it again. She used cheap acrylic paints and they haven’t shown signs of wearing off.We will be ordering this again because she likes to make anamorphic masks and fur suits and this makes amazing teeth and details.

This stuff is amazing! I saw it used in a YouTube cosplay costume-making video when looking for ideas for my son's Halloween Darth Maul costume. I ordered it, and it arrived within a day and half. It was so easy to use and delivered exactly what I was looking for to make Darth Maul's horns. Just pour boiling water over the pellets, wait about 30 seconds or so for them to turn clear, then scoop it out of the water with some sort of utensil and it's cool enough to the touch right away, and you can mold it into whatever shape you need. If it's not right the first time, just put it back in a bowl, pour some more boiling hot water over it, and it will be moldable again. It cooled enough to hold shape pretty quickly and hardened completely to rock solid within about 10 - 15 minutes. I used the same stuff to fashion to Yoda ears for my other son's costume. t took acrylic paint very well. The two big ears and eight horns only used about a third of this container. I will absolutely be using this product again many times I'm sure!
