See pic. Does not come close to fitting standard AR-15 barrel shroud. Holes do not line up.

I only used one of the sections, but it easily mounted to the top of a clamshell style midlength handguard for a light. Sturdy!

I used it for mounting fun upgrades. after 3 trips to the pit, I realized one of my mounting screws must have worked it's way out...so I grabbed my semi-permanent "blue, Not RED!!" loc-tite out of my bags on my bike, and Hot dawg! I've had some quality time with my lady at the pit causing a rukus lately ! i swear she spit about 3500 at least and I. check after every date, out of curiosity and habit. Maybe one day I can tell yall my lady'll quit spittin, and that damn mount thing hasn't come loose yet, and I'm sure im gonna be in a better mood too. Like momma used to say when we was sledding at that snow hill and snots were runnin over the top lip and into the mouth...." if it's in ur mouth already the damage is done, might as well gulp it on down and maybe you'll discover a new trend or style, and that's why they call Me Freddie slurpee!

This is a great set of Picatinny rails for the appropriate handguard. I use these on my M-Lok guards. I know they make rails with the proper M-Lok hardware, but I didn't want to pay extra 50% for something I would be mounting once, or maybe twice. To get this MOE hardware mounted on my M-Lok guard, I had to use a thin flat-head screwdriver with a small magnet to attach the plated bolts and hold them on the inside of the K-Mod guard as I started to screw in the provided screws. Once the screws catch, then just hold the plated nuts in place with a tool. (I salvaged the miniature magnets from some computer hard-drives I was destroying for security reasons.) Or, instead of a magnet, you can use a double-sided tape. But hey, the rails are mounted securely on my M-Lok handguard and I saved some cash. Good buy.

It got the job done. The screws didn't line up with the rails like I would have hoped but the supplied screws and brackets did allow me to mount to the rail through the wider holes. It would have been easier if I took off the rail before installing these as it was very difficult to get the bracket in place while holding it down with a small screwdriver and at the same time tightening the screw on the other side. It was a pain but that is the way I chose to do it so it is my fault. Once attached, the longest rail section, which was used with a handgrip/bipod, seemed to bend when I applied pressure on my handgrip. It seemed like it could break with the recoil. I removed the large rail section and ended up using the medium sized rail section instead, and it was short enough where there was no play while holding the grip. I used the smallest one on the side with a flashlight bracket and it seems to work fine. The hex screws are not of the highest quality as I ended up stripping some of them while tightening and removing them. Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase. No these are not magpul quality, but for the price I paid, I really can't complain other than what I mentioned. I am satisfied with the purchase and did not expect them to be any better than they actually were. I would recommend it for the shooter on a budget who won't be putting thousands of rounds down the pipe per week.

These work well, I bought them mostly for fun as I prefer to shoot with just the plain MOE M-LOK midlength hand-guard; at most I may keep a flashlight mounted. One note, the actual M-LOK attachments are meant to be attached and detached externally, but these have mountings that are too wide to insert from the outside and simply twist lock into place. I had to take off the bottom section of my hand-guard off and feed the mount from the inside. This isn't a big deal but does limit the quick replacement of the rail sections.
