5 stars for design and cold water use. 1 star for pressured hot water. Barbed ends attached OK. Showed some angled distortion after a week in line. Did not leak at connections.Filter removed plenty of fine particles. Bowl tightened well when cold but loosened and leaked when under pressure and hot. I am considering making the bowl permanently attached but for now my heater (post flush) is working fine.

Works well, I used this in a high-temperature setting (between 160-200 F, 16 PSI) and have had no trouble so far. Put this in as a temporary solution, but given it's performance it may be more permanent. So far it has not leaked or discolored in any way and I have not noticed any flow restriction.
