I bought this due to the name of Poly and being familiar with their other products. I use this daily through out the week, and now constantly getting feedback that there is erroneous noises and unable to hear me. I am constantly switching my microphone input and it has become extremely frustrating.

Great plug and play speaker. We've purchased several for work and they're portable enough to travel with and a great solution in spaces without dedicated audio or when the built-in audio technology decides not to work in the middle of a meeting. Just plug this speaker in and you're pretty much good to go.The only meeting where this wasn't sufficient was in a very large meeting room that had no soft surfaces to absorb sound, so the space was too big and echo-ey for this speaker to meet our needs. I believe there may be a way to daisy chain two together if you need to, but we mostly use it in smaller spaces, so we haven't needed to explore that option.

When I received this product and tried to use it, I was initially confused and unhappy. However, I discovered that if you're in your home office, you shouldn't keep it flat. Instead, direct the speaker towards you, and it will work like magic. I really love this product.

I have a lot of things connected to my MacBook, so I don't like disconnecting it all if I want to take a call in another place in the house. This speakerphone was the perfect solution. The speaker and microphone quality are excellent (it is even great for music) and the battery so far has been up to the task. The Teams integration is really cool--you can even raise your hand in meetings. There was one quirk with the hangup button which I addressed in the Q&A section, but other than that the Poly Lens software works nicely as well. The speaker also looks quite a bit more aesthetically pleasing compared to some of its competitors and the carrying case is a nice bonus. It has been extremely convenient to easily take calls around the house with high audio quality and I highly recommend this speakerphone.UPDATE: So a couple weeks in, I've been able to spot some issues with this speakerphone (at least in terms of it's Microsoft Teams functions). For some reason, answering incoming teams calls only works some of the time and seems to stop working intermittently. I've fixed this SOMETIMES by restarting the speaker and the Poly Lens client, but even that doesn't work every time. Also, the Teams button works great for raising your hand in meetings (which is primarily how I use it), but the description says this button enables interaction with your calendar when you AREN'T in a meeting. I have never gotten this to work. I have also experienced a few times where the state of the buttons gets out of sync with Teams--so clicking mute actually mutes me in teams, but the light doesn't update on the device and appears that I am still un-muted. I'm still leaving 3 stars because the speaker is still great quality and the portability of the device is super convenient. I think most (if not all) of these issues are software-related, so if they can fix these, I'll bump back up to 5 stars.

I’m often called out on calls for speaking too softly so thought this would help. It didn’t. It’s in a drawer now not being used because it’s too late to return. Save yourself the headache, buy some ear buds.Pros:- Install was easy.- Software updates are frequent.Cons:- I’m often called out as being unclear, to the point where people are relived when I switch to the on-board system microphone.- Its ability to manage an application’s mute is unreliable. The software, when working prevents those awkward double-mute scenarios. The thing is, it doesn’t work all the time. I tried via Bluetooth, and via USB dongle. Neither seem to be good at controlling the mute at both places all the time.

I've been using it for a week or two, and I really like it. I've used it with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Webex. With all three services, the "Mute" button is recognized so if I mute on the device it shows muted in the software client.It's hard to say how I'm sounding to others, but I haven't received any comments from others on the call.With regard to the battery, maybe it's by design but it never fully charges. I don't use it that way so it's no impediment to me.

The Bluetooth Transceiver doesn't work. It was supposed to blink blue or green light when connected to the computer but it doesn't. Tried installing the Poly app as well. It recognizes the device but not the Bluetooth Transceiver at all. Was very excited to receive it and was looking forward to Teams calls but didn't happen.

The red/green LEDs indicating if you are on mute or talking is awesome. Sound is great! Teams button didn’t really do anything for me. I think the one issue I’ve had is that after connecting it to a device via Bluetooth, it would randomly call out loud, even when in a meeting “Speaker disconnected from computer.” It’s extremely annoying. I basically had to select “forget device” after every time I connected it to a device. Overall awesome though. Better than my phone or computer speakers. Totally ok for taking with you on the go as well. Wouldn’t want it to be any bigger.

After watching a ton of review videos that used the actual devices to demo the sound quality, this Poly 20 device performs just as advertised, excellently.There is one downside, which is that the device doesn't perform as well when being used via the USB, but it sounds even better with Bluetooth so that's really a non-issue. The "performance issue" with using it via USB is that my phone wasn't able to noise cancel as well for some reason, could be software who knows.In any event, this has been an excellent buy and I strongly recommend it if you're looking for a solid bluetooth conference device. Picks up talking at a really good distance too, 10/10.

Ich habe die Poly - Sync 20+ nun knapp zwei Wochen und habe sie auf Herz und Nieren testen können.Ich muss sagen, genau sowas habe ich mir immer gewünscht.Die Freisprechanlage ist super für Telefonate, egal ob am Handy, Desktop oder Laptop.Hierzu gleich die bisher einzige kleine Einschränkung: Die Box ist nicht für hochklassigen Musikgenuss ausgelegt!Positiv hingegen: Die Auslegung auf Sprache ist bei der Box extrem gut gelungen und kein Vergleich zu allen internen Lautsprechern, selbst wenn sich mehrere Personen am Gespräch beteiligen.Dies gilt auch für das Mikrofon.Der Akku ist sehr langlebig und lässt sich durch das integrierte Ladekabel mit USB-C Stecker leicht aufladen.Die Verbindung mit allen von mir getesteten Geräten hat sehr einfach funktioniert.Was ich aber leider sagen muss: Die Bedienungsanleitung (war gar nicht vorhanden und lässt sich auch nicht so leicht finden) und die Verwaltungssoftware (zumindest für MacOS) benötigt noch einige Updates bis man hier von wirklich ausgereift Sprechen kann. Super schade, weil es nicht zu der wirklich hochwertigen Freisprechanlage passt.Die Bedienung über die Touch-Tasten ist sehr intuitiv und die Tasten reagieren auch sehr gut.Was noch ein sehr großer Pluspunkt für mich ist:Die Box lässt sich gleichzeitig mit zwei Geräten (z.B. Handy und Laptop) somit muss man nicht ständig "Umschalten" bzw. kompliziert die Box hin und her Verbinden.Allerdings Achtung: Wenn ihr mit dem Laptop verbunden seid und es klingelt am Telefon, dann klingelt auch die Box und ihr müsst am Laptop schnell umschalten oder auf dem Handy den Anruf abweisen.Fazit:Klare Kaufempfehlung für alle die sich mehr Komfort beim Telefonieren wünschen (Sound, frei Sprechen, Mobilität).

Bought this mainly because it has a built-in mic but the speaker is below-average quality. Sometimes it works fine but occasionally the speaker sounds like it's damaged like someone has ripped the speaker membrane.
