Packaged well, easy to put hook up, with great highs and amazing mid bass. No tinny sound, smooth sound on all levels when equipped with quality wire & banana plugs, and the value for what you get whoops the competition in the $250-$500 range. You won’t be disappointed going with Polk. I know I’m not.

The Polk Monitor XT70 Tower Speaker blew me away with its incredible sound quality. Whether I’m streaming music or watching an action-packed movie, the audio is crisp, detailed, and immersive. The deep bass adds a rich, full-bodied feel without overwhelming the mids and highs. Setup was simple, and they look great in my living room—sleek but not flashy. They’re also Dolby Atmos and DTS:X compatible, so I’m ready for a full home theater experience. If you’re serious about great sound at a reasonable price, these speakers are a no-brainer. Highly recommend for audiophiles and movie buffs alike!

Specificare meglio e in modo più chiaro possibile che il costo è per un solo diffusore non farebbe male, casse acustiche non provate ovviamente, me ne è arrivata una, inutile perdita di tempo per tutti

I needed to upgraded my front surround sound speakers since my old Polk Audio satellite speakers were a little outdated. The old ones still play like a champ after 15+ years. I decided to go with the XT70 since I had already purchased the XT35 center speaker and XT90 height speakers.I upgraded these a year ago. These XT70 speakers are definitely a huge upgrade to my old speakers. The clarity I hear compared to my old system is night and day. The added bass they produce makes movies seem more full. I am still using the old Polk Audio satellite speakers for my rear surround, which I will upgrade eventually to the XT20. I'm running this off of a Pioneer VSX-935 7.2 channel 8k/4k receiver which puts out 80 watts per channel at 8 ohm. Overall I am very impressed with these tower speakers. Definitely worth the price.

What I can't tell you - I can't compare these speakers to a 2or 3 thousand dollar set of speakers. I have never had speakers that expensive and even much more in my home. I have heard them in a specialty store but not at home. They will sound different in the studio than at home. I do know the higher class speakers have beautifully constructed cabinets, well damped inside and higher quality components. What I can tell you - These speakers do look nice even though they are not made of fine woods and have rounded or beveled edges. In fact I have seen some brands of tower speakers that cost 3 times as much as these speakers and they have the same basic square edge construction on the outside. I think these speaker look impressive for the money. Ok, the grille is not magnetic but it is secure and looks very nice. The connection posts on the back are very nice. They added a nice touch to the base even though it is just cosmetic. Now on to the sound. I have these speakers hooked up to a brand new 80 watts per channel Yamaha amplifier (not receiver), a brand new Cambridge CD player, a brand new Andover Spindeck Max Turntable, and a high resolution streamer. I am using a new Klipsch 10 inch subwoofer all items purchased through Amazon. I am only using this system for stereo music. The highs from these speakers are very crisp and clear. The mid sound is warm and robust. The lows are very adequate but can come nowhere near to what a dedicated subwoofer can produce. I knew this going in which is why I wanted the subwoofer. Overall I am totally pleased with the music these towers produce and the 80 watt amp drives them beautifully and they can get quite loud without distortion unless you go nuts and over drive them to the extreme. Now would a 2 or 3 thousand dollar pair of towers out perform them? I would say yes. But the big question is does the 2 or 3 thousand dollar set give you a 2 or 3 thousand dollar performance increase? I would venture to say they are better but not thousands better. Of course this is my opinion and I am not an audiophile, but I have listened to different systems all of my life and I do know what sounds good and what does not. I have heard some crappy systems. I am sure an expert might hear or not hear things I should hear but again, I am totally pleased with the sound these speakers produce and I don't give a flying fig if they are missing a little detail.
