I really like the real feel of these cuffs and the locking feature to prevent them from tightening more. They lock well and don’t budge when you struggle against them. Great cuffs for the price

Yes, these are the same ones that the police use in some departments they’re small for the wrist size so usually this is not the only pair that they carry but it does have the right key and the lockout so the person can’t tighten them themselves.

I'm strong enough to break out of these so it is possible. And they pick open easy enough. But the key is the standard issue that works for most handcuffs. When dubble locked will hold the average person.

I found the handcuffs in pristine condition every time, If you happen to worry about hinges or the slide of the handcuffs, apply some WD-40 around once every month and it should do the trick. I ended up losing the keys so I would recommend to buy either some spare or keep one of the two keys in a place you'll never mess with. (Just in case you accidentally lose yours, I lost mine but I had both on the same lanyard-- Do not let history repeat itself...) And even though after a few arrests and a few long term cab times, the paint didn't ware off as much as I thought it would. Still black and shiny and very durable, I would recommend it to others and even buying it again. (Most likely for the extra keys), so yeah... these are a good buy-- NOT a waste of money...
