Perfect replacement on my 2005 Polaris 500 6X6. Broke the original gear trying to forcibly shifting into gear not knowing there was water in the basement gear box that had frozen. This is apparently a known problem with Polaris's. Seals go bad over time and let water in. This part worked great.
