This is all you need for a home poker set. Especially for the price.

You cannot go wrong for the price, good quality chips. Case is light weight… however you can’t by the chips without for less.

I did a lot of research on what was the best poker chips to get on Amazon and this is what I settled on.The Good:- The chips have a nice texture and weight to them. I feel like they're not quite as heavy at the ones at my local casino but they are pretty close. The feel nice and make a nice stacking sound. No offensive odor to the chips either.- A good consistency with the chips. Despite some people having gotten unlucky with some production flaws, I found the chips to be consistent quality, size, shape, weight and paint. The Bad:- The playing cards feel very cheap. They'll work, but they are not to the same quality as the chips. Definitely replace them when you can with quality ones.- The case is more flimsy than it looks, especially the lock and latches. I found that the latches have a hard time lining up correctly to close. And the lock is basically for show - it's not going to really stop anyone from getting in there. As someone that wanted some quality chips for a local game I'm quite happy with them. Despite the extras (cards and case) being kinda cheap - they function and I can look past that because the quality of the chips is so good.

For the price of $33 it is a good deal and comes with a decent case. The chips are of pretty good quality and the two decks are not bad either. Much better deal than most other comparable offerings. It comes in a case that can be locked but the case is much heavier than expected. The chips and cards have their own cut outs (hard plastic with felt finish) as seen in the picture and fit very well in the case. The case its self is the only weakness in this product as it does seem like a hard plastic or wood with a thin metallic covering. The covering of the case had a few small dents/bent parts but these are small and don't really show too much. I am not sure how durable the case will be but for now it should fit my needs for game nights very well!

Case is good, chips have a sort of dusty rustic finish to them which is odd and the playing cards are cheap and poor quality. Saying this, it's perfect for what I'm after but due to the quality, can't rate it too highly. Probably a 3.5

I'm very happy with this set. To a casual player, the minor issues should not be a deal breaker and I definitely recommend this set. A little more details...The case has issues as other reviewers have mentioned. If I were to lock it, I'd be worried about it not unlocking, but it's a cheap poker chip set and there's really no need to lock it. The case had some wood pieces inside of it but nothing near as bad as the other reviews would have you believe and it cleaned up just fine. Dents? Check. Cheap? Check. Holds chips without issues? Check. It does what it needs to do so no negative points from me.The chips did not feel cheap to me -- a casual player. There are a couple that had minor chips in them but they have a pretty good weight to them and stack without issue. For what I paid for, I'm more than satisfied with these chips. Had a decent color to them. The cards are not the highest quality, but we were able to make it through a long weekend of poker with them. The cards had a slight bend in them when we were done. Pick up a different set of cards if you're going to be using this regularly.Picked this up to play with friends and had more than enough chips to go around for 6 people. If you have friends that will mock you for having a few chips with a piece of metal showing, this is not the case for you and you shouldn't be looking at cheap sets anyway. If you're having a fun night with friends, buy without worries.

I purchased this set a week ago and my overall impressions are that it is a great set for the price. If you want to start your own game you won't go wrong starting with this set.First Impressions:The packaging for this product was a little on the skimpy side, just an overlong box that had some crumpled paper on each end to protect the sides of the case. No wrapping or protection at all for the top and bottom. There was no apparent shipping damage to the case; however the bottom of the case was missing a rivet. The rivet location seems more visual then structural. After unwrapping and counting the chips (yes I am a bit neurotic) I found that they gave me an extra green and shorted me one black. Not a huge deal, but points to a lack of overall quality control.Positives:Price - The price for 500 chips, plus the case, and the buttons can't be beat. Comparable sets can go for double the price elsewhere.Set - The chips have a nice feel, stack well, and seem sturdy. The other players and I all enjoyed using them for the game. The case feels strong enough to support the weight of the chips (it is not a light set) and looks nice. Also the dealer button has a nice feel and weight to it. The chips fit well in the case, and there is enough room to add some dice and up to 4 decks of cards.Negatives:Quality control issues - Besides the points mentioned earlier, there is slight discoloration on some of the chips (lighter or darker). Also the pattern on some chips was slightly off stamped and there are a couple of chips where I can see a bit of the metal insert.White Chips - I am not sure if the white is showing dirt or they went with a slightly grayish white color, but they do have a dirty looking appearance.Cards - The cards they gave with the set are a bit on the chincy side, I just replaced them with some better decks.
