It was always out of time. Even setting with a timing light it would run for a day or two and fail. This was after it running fine for two months.

Bought this kit for one of the project bikes. Good value for the money. The quality is good. Installed easy of course would need to be installed by a professional or someone who knows what to do. I have ran the bike and the performance of the points is good

If you are converting from electronic ignition this kit will work but I would get a set of blue streak points and keep these as back ups.

Great set up to take my 1982 Harley Sturgis to a point system. Didn’t need anything else.

I bought these for a 1974 Harley Davidson FX. As they were, the points would not close at all. I had to extend the slot on the points in order to gap the points correctly. The timing plate also required modification in order to set the advance timing correctly. The advance assembly does seem good though, as does the points cam.

Everything about the situation was not working properly. I was sent the wrong product then finally got it work for a few hours then my whole ignition system went down. I'm going back to a electric ignition. I installed them correctly but the metal is cheap and there really wasn't enough room to make adjustments after The initial static time. I bought a electric ignition afterwards.
