This was used as a replacement for the original Tecumseh points & condenser on a 1976 Ariens snowblower. It was a perfect drop-in replacement. The engine fired up on the first try, with no further adjustment needed. Points were gapped to 0.020".

Just what I needed to get my 3 1/2 hp Tecumseh going again. Think it was a bad condenser. Replaced the points and condenser and now it is running fine. Parts seem to be of good quality. Recommend.

The point set spring was weaker than the old OEM set. Also the pivot post that the points move on was to tight. I had to bend the spring material to increase tension and free up the pivot. With these modifications the point worked.

Fixing up a vintage rider with a Tecumseh engine and no spark. Bought these points plus a condenser. Turns out I didn't need the points, but I'll keep them for whatever future project rolls into the garage. Fair price, quick delivery.
