There's a plastic film on them so make sure to remove it. I cut eyes out with a utility knife for a Spaceballs helmet I made. Score the lines you want and go over them in several passes and you can cut it to shape. You won't be able to do it in 1 pass, take your time. Once the film is removed it's a bold tint color that looks sweet. Has a nice bend as well if you need that for your helmet.

Easy to see through and the metal is essential to bend the lens’s into shape

About 1mm thick. Extremely durable with dark smoke tinting (almost black). Aluminum rim is removable.I used this to vacuum form lenses while building a cosplay (excuse the dust in pic) but, will be getting more for it's intended use on my helmets.Cuts easily with scissors or being scored with utility knife and snapping along score line.Comes covered in protective film on both sides which is perfect for laying out cut lines.2 for 9 bucks. Can't beat the price!

I used this for a clone trooper helmet I built as the visor. Having it already be tinted saved a lot of time, and the product is firm enough to hold its shape but flexible enough to bend into place on the helmet.
