The price was great and included free shipping. It was half the price as it was at a local pool store. It came the next day and the pool was clear by morning.I had a lot of settlement from a product I had used that settles the cloudy water into a a brown slime at the bottom of the pool, even after vacuuming to waste. After installing this filter, the water was clear. I had to rinse the filter after three days of use, but I was dealing with some heavy sludge gunk. After hosing it off, and dipping in some cleaner, it is back to working like a charm, cleared out the bugs and tree debris, and vacuumed, and it is still going strong. I will probably rinse it again, since I vacuumed, but I still have good pressure regardless.

If you have a pool filter that takes this cartridge, then you may want to have a second filter to go along with it. The reason why: because it allows for a quick change so that you don't lose too much water, it doesn't let the pump sit for even ten minutes so that it can continuously operate, as well as prolonging time to buy another one.I bought a pool pump filtration system with this setup last year and have never looked back. I have my pool pump system set up on a timer where it automatically turns off and on at certain intervals. I only have to check it once a week or so.Since we have gone almost two full seasons with these two filters, we have yet to replace them--no holes, tears or serious discoloration. It is definitely worth the investment.
