We bought this to hang in our basement because our kids are really into The Greatest Showman and our daughter wants to be a trapeze artist. One of the things that the kids seem to appreciate most is that the ropes go all the way through the trapeze dowel, so they can actually hang from a single ring and spin in circles. It's worth noting that this also means that the trapeze dowel can slide up and down the two ropes (which could be annoying depending on what you're trying to do - sometimes when they try to flip upside down and hook their knees around the bar it slips upwards and out of their reach if they kick it while holding the rings). The trapeze itself is unfinished wood, so I'm not sure how well it would hold up outdoors if not sealed in some way, but it's perfect for indoor use. It's quick and easy to adjust the length of the ropes as well.
