Great playmat for my 6 month old. It is firm but still soft enough if he rolls or falls on it. Color and design as described. Would recommend!!

When I bought this I got two packs at one time, and then I bought an additional third. One of the packs I got was dirty, damaged, and clearly used. On top of this the tiles are not all the same height so on some of them you don’t get an even edge. Over time this will keep getting hit and eventually those tiles are going to peel. On top of this the pattern, while repeating the same on each tile, is not printed evenly. So the tile pattern does not match.When I went to do the Amazon return I got the “contact seller for product assistance” option so I did. INITIALLY the customer service was amazing and I was told I’d be getting new tiles in the mail. As soon as I rated the product support as 5 star on Amazon I got a new email stating they would be do nothing and to return the product through Amazon. When I pointed this out to them they ignored my email (after previously being very responsive).Let’s keep in mind dismantling, packing, and returning isn’t exactly easy when you have kids.In the future I would/will pay the extra money to buy a play mat from one of the reputable brands.

Pros:-The color and style is very high end.-The quality is good and thick-Each pack covered a lot of floor space-VERY easy to installThe things that were a bit ehhhh but I think would be issues with any similar product-It is a little firm, so while padded, still a hard bump for a toddler head (still extra cushioned)- This is designed to be a perfect rectangle. I tried to bump it out for the room (not put it under couches, etc) and I had to cut the border pieces to have the edges work- It is slick, at least upon opening. It is hard for my baby to stand/balance on if in a footsie onesie or something without a lot of traction.I would definitely order again. I just wanted to give those other things that surprised me incase its a game changer from someone looking to purchase.

I bought these foam tiles for our playroom and while they look nice and offer cushioning, I found them to be very slippery. Even with light play, my children slipped several times, which made me concerned about safety. I wouldn't recommend them if you're looking for something that provides more traction and stability.

The mat is very beautiful and way more aesthetic than the typical floor mats. We have a small house, so for things that don't really matter when thinking about their development, I like to try and make it work with our decor. I LOVE that I can just use four squares to make a smaller mat for our small space. So we basically have a square mat and enough tiles to replace the mat when our dogs and up trashing it. The dogs do mess it up with their nails, but I think that's just going to be life with dogs no matter what the mat brand is. We are very happy with the mat and how it's holding up to constant use and traffic!

Though designed for babies, this material happens to be great for grown-ups with back problems, as well. Both my sweetheart and I have back problems, and we spend lots of time in our vintage kitchen, which was built 36 years ago on a concrete slab (BRUTAL on the feet and back). I saw this product on line, and decided to try it. Not only was it comfy under our feet, it was easy to assemble. After laying a strip in front of the sink, it looked so pretty, and felt so heavenly, that we decided to purchase a second kit to cover the entire kitchen! Our second kit had a small quality control issue. We contacted the company, and they cheerfully and quickly made it right, just in time for Thanksgiving meal prep and clean-up. Love this product! Top notch customer service!!!

I was very excited to receive this play mat as it was meant to delivery everything I was looking for: large size, modular design, discreet and elegant print, good insolation...However the corners don't fit properly and the print is actually stuck to the foam which means it's a real hazard for young children so I won't be able to use it for my upcoming baby.A real disappointment and a waste a time and money.

So 4 years ago when my son was a baby I bought this brand of extra thick foam puzzle pieces to protect him while playing on our hard wood floors. They held up great, and are easy to scrub down with some disinfectant wipes. Now, with my second baby sitting up and getting close to crawling I decided I needed one more set. I was going to buy the same brightly colored ones as before but saw these and thought they would look so much better in my home. I do like these...they’re thick and cushiony, the color and design is so much better than the bright primary color ones, it makes a nice big square and it comes with edge pieces. However, like someone else mentioned these are slippery. They’re not as textured as the bright colored ones. When my daughter is playing on her tummy she can’t get much traction. I don’t think many of us are decorating our houses in bright primary colors, so these are a good alternative and even though they are slightly more slippery I do think I would buy them again.
