Super simple to install without removing the wheels. Pull the old one out; slide the new one in. Tighten it up and you're ready to go. My hybrid bike is black, and I've been Accenture it in red. These are a perfect addition. They match the other red after market parts I've added, and look great on the bike.

Bought a new bike came with low grade QR Skewers one broke on the first ride. Ordered these Platt replacement skewers couldn't be happier. Nice upgrade in looks better quality steel an color options. Look great on the bike.

These skewers are winners! They are well designed and the materials, fit & finish are first rate. All metal with a metal threaded end. The titanium color is terrific -- more attractive than my Shimano XT skewers. These Platt skewers are industry-standard size and will probably fit any bike with quick-release hubs. Excellent skewers and hard to beat at any price. Highly recommended.

I’m not sure what to expect for the price, but if magnetism is an indication of stainless steel, then these don’t pass the test. These skewers are not even 304 stainless. I wouldn’t put much trust in them not rusting, especially in Florida. My old QR skewers were not stainless either. I only replacing the front axle, because I broke the cam follower lever on my original. It will be interesting to see if they stay tight. Some other reviewers had issues with loosening on their own.

There isn't much to write about these. They work as they should. They are very solid. They are not cheap cheap like I thought they might be for that price. I bought blue. Okay... I have an all out black single speed custom built bike. I thought adding some color would give it some character. I do not love the blue [it is a little bit soft for a pretty bad ass bike] I'm going to keep them and purchase the red ones. Honestly... for this price I don't think you can go wrong.
