So sorry I bought these bags. They seem strong at first but as you can see from the photos they tear when stretched. They are not 12 to 16 gallons. Much shorter than other 13 gallon bags and made even smaller by the fact that they are gathered at the end. No handles make them more difficult to close. A waste of money.Not buying these again.

Use these for trash cans for offices cleaning business.. nice and thick.. people eat at their desks a lot and these are sturdy. BUT they are not packed in rolls as depicted which is a problem for my business.. it’s too time consuming to straighten out the supply each time we reach in for 30-40 bags at a time. I’ve bought them before but am returning them now because of how they are packaged.

Just the right size for my bin but since they come without twist ties you can only fill them half to 3/4 full if you need to tie them off. That's probably just as well though since as others have pointed out the plastic is very thin and not strong.
