it works but I only gave it a 4 because I like my arepas a little thicker. I have not used enough to judge sturdiness bot should last if handled carefully

Simply does not work. Does not flatten a moust and tender small ball of masa. Ridiculous! Am sending it back for a refund ASAP. It’s a “pretend” totilla press. My granddaughter didn’t even want it to play with her PlaDoh.

I had my doubts, but this press makes perfectly sized arepas. I use a quart sized zip baggie as a liner and I’m able to get a whole batch ready in minutes!
