For me, it was great that this kit came with five of everything: spouts, replacement vent covers, new vents for gas cans that didn't have them already installed, and two sets of caps with course and fine threads. The difference between the course and fine is pretty negligible but I found that I did need some of both for my five gas cans. Another pro feature on this set is that the spouts can be stretched out longer which makes it much easier for me to pour diesel into my John Deere tractor. I was always spilling diesel if my 5 gallon can was full and using the original short spout - this longer spout lets me pour it spill-free now.The listing shows a drill bit is included but my package didn't have one. This didn't stop me as I already had a full set of bits and the 5/16th inch bit was perfect for the job. An 8mm metric bit will also work (5/16 inches converts to 7.9375 millimeters).I hope I don't need to buy these again, but I'd buy these again if needed and recommend them to all my friends.

These plastic can spout replacements are good quality replacements made with good solid durable plastic. Fits perfectly on my fuel cans and work as they should. Very happy with the quality and functionality of these fuel can spout replacements!

This kit comes with everything you need to convert your infuriating modern gas can into one that behaves like it should. It has various size collars for different style cans, and comes with a small cap to screw on at the end of the spout. It took me less than 5 minutes to convert my gas can, and it seems to seal up nicely. No leaks, so far. The plastic doesn't feel super high quality, so it will be interesting to see how long it lasts. However, since the kit comes with 5 of each item I'm not worried about it.

I have about two dozen portable gasoline containers of a variety of sizes from 1/2 of a gallon to a gallon to a couple of gallons to as large as five and six gallons and where the brands are a combination of Scepter, Blitz, Midwest, Chilton and Jerry Can and some others I don't remember offhand. Most have either "course" or "fine" caps though, which is why I wanted this kit, which contains a combination of both types of caps. For my purposes, I don't need the spouts since I use a gasoline pump or siphon to fill a vehicle's gas tank. Also in my location, it's illegal to modify a portable gas can to allow it to vent so the EPA wouldn't like me drilling holes with the drill bit provided to adapt the can to pour out (for environmental reasons). All I wanted was a bung cap that didn't leak. But every one leaked in this kit. Sigh. I prefer the one-piece caps (which also have a rubber gasket) but the two-piece caps would have been fine if they didn't all leak.Even so, you can only get a maximum of ten possible bung caps out of this kit because there are five "course" caps and even though there are ten "fine" caps, they all have holes in the center where you only get five inside caps to fill them. That means the maximum amount of caps you can get out of this is ten, although that can be ten fine or any combination of five fine or five course that uses the ten course caps to do it.One of the reasons the caps leaked, I think, is that they're too tall. They bottom out against the top of the gasoline container. I tried doubling up on the rubber gaskets to prevent the bottoming out but they still leaked. So I gave up.In addition to the caps leaking, they are hard to get off when you tighten them up (which you must do to lessen the leaks). The reason is that the "grip" is just a smooth chamfer on the octagon-sized caps. Those grip should be bigger to allow more grip. I have strong hands, so while I can tighten the caps well, it's much harder to loosen them given the grip isn't there. Sure, I can do it. But they could have made it easier with larger corners.

It is nightmare to pour gas into a vehicle, mower, trimmer, gator with the regulation they put on store bought gas cans (regular or diesel) The kit comes with every you need to pour gas into almost any gas tank, even a drill so you can make the hole to allow air to let the gas can pour at the fill amount you need.
