Use: Put in protein based bait such as dead fish, shrimp, meat, etc. Stick the trap into the aquarium let it filled up with water then put the lid on. Its great to catch pest planaria worms naturally . I used this , placing. frozen blood worms the first time, and after 2 hours, caught about 8 worms.....but the tank still had a lot. I rinsed it out and now placed. a raw shrimp.... but this time I caught less. worms. I think. this works, but it takes some time. When using, make sure to place a bait that has smell. Also, place the entry holes near the bottom gravel and near where you seem lots of planaria worms.

100% recommended. Knew I had a worm hiding in my base rock under some corals. I set this in the reef with a little mysis shrimp clump inside. First night he was caught. Good quality, price and works great. Look no further

I received my order of two tubes today 5/27/24. I rinsed out both of them and added frozen baby brine chuncks into each lid. Then filled each tube and lid up with the aquarium water then capped it. I out one on each side of my 10 gallon tank. Instantly one planeria went into the tube. I left it for 2 hours. Then dumped them in a plastic bag. The bag reflects both tubes in a two hour times frame.I did put them back in for the night with different bait. Bug bits and a piece of tuna from my cats food. We will see what happens. They ate all of my baby shrimp and my two pure breed cherry shrimp. I hope they boil in the out weather outside.

I did not catch one bristle worm, big nor small. The only thing that happened was that my bumblebee snails showed off their 1”+ tongue. The holes are way too small for any decent size creature to crawl through.Waste of money.

I have a 6.5 gal tank stocked with high grade crystal red shrimp. I noticed some shrimplets (yay!) about a month ago & then a week later I couldn’t find a single one..(not yay) I couldn’t understand what the problem was, it’s a very well established tank, I use RODI water, my parameters were literally spot on every time I checked.. where did they go?! Well… Admittedly, I knew I had an aquarium leech infestation, but anything I could dose to kill them (they are resilient little guys) would also more than likely kill my shrimp, so I left them alone. Turns out they prey on shrimplets and also sometimes adults? I have seen them eating an adult but at the time I just assumed it died of old age or whatever and they were just disposing of the waste for me.. but now I wonder if they killed that shrimp.. and therefore also ate my babies:( so while I’m cycling a totally new tank I needed a solution that wouldn’t kill my shrimp. I researched these and read a ton of mixed reviews. I figured it’s worth a try seeing as just one of my shrimp is double what this costs lol. I got it, cleaned it, threw it in, by the morning.. nothin. Then I thought.. wait this is like setting a trap with no bait? So I tried a little chunk of frozen bloodworms I had on hand, caught one by the next morning. THEN the next day I cleaned it out and sprinkled some fluval bug bites in there submerged it (don’t forget to let the air out of the cap piece before putting it on the trap. The next morning, I kid you not, I had at least 15 of those suckers (pun intended lol) in there. These things definitely work if you use them correctly. Hopefully I can get enough removed that my shrimp remain safe until their new tank is mature enough.
