The product arrived well packaged and I was afraid of how tight a coil it would be. It was wrapped around about a foot wide section of scrunched paper. There were stress fractures on the reverse side and care had to be taken when cutting it. Unfortunately it did finish cracking through. As it was going to be used in the aft cabin against the hull, the crack is hidden by the mattress.I love the thickness of the cork, and that made it easier to work with.If better care was had to ensure it wouldn’t be crushed during shipping, I’d have given 5 stars. If I were using it for a board or where it would be featured prominently, it’d have gotten 3 stars or less for the cracks that show on the front face, depending on your project.I would still order again and hope for better conditions and contact vendor to ensure better packaging. There needs to be better support to prevent crushing. Or better care when packing for shipping.
