I bought a Pit Boss grill last fall, and decided to upgrade my tongs. My old set were not heavy enough and the tips bent easily. My son has a pair of these, and they are heavy duty; they don't wrack when grabbing and rotating a heavy piece of meat. The Pit Boss name is a bonus.

Just like my review on the spatula, these tongs are sturdy, hold up to the heat real well. They are a little more difficult to clean than the solid tongs (since it has the holes). All in all, I would highly recommend these for any avid griller/smoker.

I bought it thinking 'soft touch' would be safe to use on my Pit Boss Ultimate ceramic top... So, I'll just keep it to grab paper towels off the top shelf. - Very big - puts you about a foot away from the food - well built.. but don't try turning a shrimp with it... It's like, like.. eating breakfast cereal from a bowl using a shovel..

Comfortable handle, great grip and pick up ability, but the close lock is kinda wonky.
