I have 3 very old books that needed to be stored in an acid-free box. I have no idea why these acid-free boxes are so expensive, but this one was $10 cheaper than the others. I was afraid this is going to be two too cheap to use, but it's decent enough. I don't think this is as heavy and reinforced on the corners as the others, which I believe have metal reinforcements, but this works fine for me. I don't plan on storing extremely heavy things in it. It is actually much more spacious than I imagined. So, I definitely would recommend this for photos, or in my case, very old manuscripts. That being said, I think all of these acid-free boxes are priced too high. But this is the most reasonably priced one I could find. Is there something in the acid-free process that should make it so expensive? I wonder 🤔. The only other thing I would say on this box, is that it has a metal name tag holder, but doesn't provide any inserts. That's just a strange thing to me.

I needed something to fit 11 x 14 portraits from grandparents (1940’s) along with a lot of older pictures of different sizes. I wanted to keep them all together in 1 box. This box is perfect.FYI only 3x5 Pictures can be stored upright. I plan on placing the stacks that are in rubber bands into glassine envelopes will use an archival pencil to label. The box fits perfectly on my shelf so now these pictures can be easily enjoyed instead of pulling them out of an unorganized box(es) from the attic. I am ordering more boxes so that I can do the rest of my pictures.

This box is great to hold my collection of diamond art drills. Deep enough and it holds plenty. Would buy again if need to.

I use this box for storing my stencils, and it holds them all. It is easily identifiable among the other storage bins in my studio.

I love the boxes to store pictures. I have 4 boxes all different colors. I have one problem. I wish the metal brackets in front had cards in them.

I will be ordering more of these for the photo project I am working on. I really like the size and the fact they are made of acid free cardboard. The only thing is one corner was slightly dinged when delivered...not enough to return, but as I am using these to archive I really need them to be in top shape

Even if you live in a tiny house or live the minimalist lifestyle -- which I can't-- you still need a couple of *everything* boxes. These boxes are perfect for me because I save old tickets, posters, photos, and art from a couple of music scenes and LA history; I'm also needing to save medical papers that can't be filed yet. Another friend puts receipts in these, a designer friend puts fabric samples in them before organizing them into a sample book.Sometimes digital storage is not the best way.So I've been replacing broken much larger cardboard Ikea filing boxes with these for 2 years now. We have 6 of these in black. They have a useful metal frame for labelling. These look good, maybe even chic, but note they can **not** be stacked if they're just about full of magazines, paper or whatever . They aren't meant for that. They're slick, coated cardboard. Camera stores used to sell these for large-format photo prints in the Long Ago.Remember these are not plastic, not metal, not super heavy duty cardboard. So don't stack more than 2, don't put other stuff on top of them. Use them for half a ream of paper you can't get in the printer tray, 5 or 6 magazines, folded up socks, or an everything box, and all will be bueno.BONUS: We were sent the wrong color, a blue-grey, [I am so ****** sick of grey everything] instead of the black we ordered...but this turned out well; it became an opportunity to demo one of those two or three truly great things about Amazon. The next day, the very next day, a replacement box arrived!

I have ordered four of these boxes and they work perfectly. They are reasonably strong, the color is nice, and they are the perfect size for storing lots of things. I got them not for scrapbook storage but for general organization in my office, which is a disaster. These boxes have a place for a label and are big enough for most anything. I store electronics, parts, paper, tax documents, etc in these. They stack neatly and do not take up more space than is necessary. Wish they were cheaper, but they cost even more at the local store, so I cant complain about Amazon's price.
