very nice, heavy duty pinking shears for a fraction of the price that just the zig zag ones would have cost me in town. they also come in a wonderful storage box. the scalloped pair makes these little embroidered felt flowers so much easier than how i was doing them before (trying to trace out tiny flowers on squishy felt and cut them. yikes). i draw a small circle, use the scalloped scissors just inside the line and then make a sliver of a pie shape between petals

These pinking shears are not for children. They are made for the adult seamstress. The 2 shapes they cut are lovely sorry seaming and decorating.

These are very sturdy and I also noticed that they feel large but were not at all difficult to use. I bought these for junk journaling and other crafts as I've always disliked the look of straight scissored edges.Edit: previously I'd said that the rounded edge of the scalloped scissors was on the right but just now I noticed that it is on the left. So these work perfectly and nothing awkward, at least if you're holding the scissors in your right hand.

They work well. Just wish they weren't so large. Great price though. Diffintely glad I ordered them.
