My daughter (2yo) loves this thing. She actually got mad when I tried to hang it on the fan initially as she wanted to hold it and carry it around the house. It now hangs nicely in her room on the fan where it is meant to be. Very sturdy and solid so even if it is dropped, stepped on or something like that it seems as if it will hold up quite well.
