Thought this would be ready to us as shown in the product description photos….but unfortunately you still have to purchase the accessories shown on the package which came in…..this should be mentioned in the description…..all you are getting is the album covers, difficult to determine whether the screws are included as it seems to be shrunkwrapped inside the pocket folder. Very misleading.

My daughter needed one of these for her senior year in college. Incredibly expensive!!! After all the cost, I could not locate pages for it. After looking around and even at the Pina Zangaro site, we ended up having to get pages from another vendor (Office Werks $19.97 / 20 pgs.) and punching our own holes to match the PZ portfolio. The PZ site seemed to say that we COULD get the pages from them, but that it would be a special run item and that the cost would go with it. I also bought a Pina Zangaro screwpost set ($11.51) which amounts to about 6 little binder screws.

When you assemble everything together it looks very professional and functions perfectly. On the flip-side the plastic feels kind of cheap and scratches easily so keep it in a case and don't slide it along table surfaces too much. The inner surface also attracts dust like a magnet. I honestly think this was very overpriced.

The matte finish looks scratched very easily. Also the company doesn't seem to have a supply of 17x11 pages available almost anywhere of after spending a LOT of money on the portfolio we had to use a different brand of pages and to do that we had to drive 90 min away because it was hard to tell online if other brands of pages would fit properly!!!!! Also, the extension "screws" said it would hold 40 pages! Barely held 30.

I had to have this to graduate with my graphic design degree as my portfolio, clients think it's very professional, and large enough to show all the details in my work

Warning... this portfolio (book) does NOT come with any sleeves; all you get is the book. This means you'll need to spend an additional 30-40 bucks for a 10 pack sheet protectors () which will hold twenty 13 x 19 prints (two prints per sheet).So... unless you already have the sheets that'll fit this book, you need to factor in that price, with the price of the book. I just happened to buy what I thought would be extra sheets, not realizing I needed them anyway because the book doesn't come with any! For me, that was 83 for the book, plus 38 for sheets... 121 bucks.Speaking of the sheet protectors - they have an opening at top and bottom so you can slide your prints in either way. Sliding your prints in though is a tight fit as 1), these are designed to keep the prints from sliding out of the protector, and 2), a thick paper such as Epson's Hot/Cold Press papers (about 21 mil thick) makes things even tighter, thus you'll need to be careful not to crease or bend your prints or the sheet protector... unless you want a nice crease in your prints and/or sheet protector(s). The sheets are also highly transparent so you want get any tinting, dulling, or obstruction of your images... unless you crease them.Anyway the book itself is a hard plastic with a matte finish on the outside, and a gloss finish on the inside. It's hinged and held together by three (black) aluminum screw posts that are removable so you can add or remove sheets. The hinge is black, made of metal, and on the inside of the book. By the way the book comes in other colors as well, but I chose black. All in all this is a really nice looking portfolio, though somewhat expensive. Something else to note is though the finish is beautiful, it appears to be easily scratched or scuffed. That said, I'd highly suggest you store it in the plastic cover it comes in until ready to use or display. Don't worry, the cover won't add any weight or bulk, and is only slightly big enough to hold the portfolio. So what's the bottom line? If you want something that's hard, sturdy, won't bend, and looks very professional, this is a nice investment. However, the buy-in can get expensive when you consider you have to buy the protective sleeves separately. For that I'm deducting a star for not including the sleeves.Peace.

Great quality. Makes portfolio look professional. Be careful, the material of the cover scratches easily.

Fantastic and extremely professional portfolio! The only drawback would be the price, however that is an investment I was willing to deal with.

The Pina Zangaro screw post book is a gorgeous way to display your artwork or photos. The acrylic snow finish looks sleek and contemporary, and the inner archival sleeves (bought as a separate item) are the perfect partner in crime. If you wish the professional edge, this is the way to go
