This binder was just what we were looking for to store a smallish collection of Disney pins for my kids to trade at the parks. Because our binder isn't packed to the brim, we did not run in to any capacity issues, but I can see that with enough pins the binder may be too thin to fully zip close. I liked the fun sparkly glitter embedded on the front cover, especially given this will be a kid's binder, as well as the cute flower charm on the zipper. A really nice way to keep pins contained for kids to flip through and enjoy. Felt pages are pre-punched, but pins can also be poked through anywhere you wish. I do like the clear vinyl dividers to help protect pin fronts from the backs on previous pages, but those pages crinkle easily and so care must be taken to keep them flat within the book.

Well! I have thousands of pins, and dozens of pin bags, and I've never seen one quite like this before. Most pin bags are, well, luggage for your pins, basically. Most pin bags are heavily padded, they have carry straps, they have inside pockets for holding pin backs, pin cards, receipts, etc. Most pin bags are geared towards convenience of travel and storage. This pin bag? It takes a very different view, and focuses almost entirely on being able to show off your pins... which is kind of the point, if you think about it. To this end: * No carry strap - it's a folder/binder form factor. * Transparent back and front, with some sparkles for flair * The pin pages are super stiff, not floppy like in most pin bags. * No wasted material or space - it has enough space to fill every page with pins, but there's no room for anything but pins. Very much style over convenience. * Seems more water resistant than most bags; the zipper seems high quality and has extra space for expanding with the bagThe bag, counterintuitively, feels like it gives your pins as much protection as padded pin bags, or even more protection, because of the stiffness of the pages. The book-style form factor makes you want to place the pins as if on book pages -- in most pin bags, you flip the pages up, like a calendar, flipping through months. But in this one you flip the pages right to left like reading a book. So your pins are oriented differently. In my opinion this is a bit more attractive and better for display than most pin bags.It came with an alarmingly large number of stiff black felt pages, with (almost?) enough plastic dividers to put between every page. I don't have it in front of me but I think there might have been six or so. Way more than you'd think for such a small binder. If you collect bigger/thicker pins you're going to want to leave some pages out.The felt pages all have holes punched in them at regularly spaced intervals. This is clearly so that it's easy to find spots to poke your pin backs through. But in practice I found them pretty useless. It's surprisingly hard to get the thumbtack-like metal posts to line up with any of the holes they've punched. I wound up just poking them through, but the felt pages are really hard, so you need to be careful not to bend your pin posts.I think the idea here is that they want the black felt pages to be very stiff, so the pins don't clink against one another and they stay spaced the way you laid them out. But it made it hard to poke the pin posts through, so they poked some premade holes. It's just that I didn't find those holes very useful -- they're pretty fiddly, and even if the post point is a millimeter away from the hole, you're not going to be able to wiggle it in because of all the felt fibers. Those holes, and the general difficulty of placing pins, are the only downsides to an otherwise pretty remarkable pin bag.I like it a lot. If you're heading somewhere to show off your pins, this is definitely the way to do it.

I've started collecting pins from my travels and also from some book box subscriptions and I wanted a place where I can store them all in one spot. I thought a binder would be a great option, because it's compact and I can flip through the pages. I was excited to ordered this specific binder because I liked that the pages can come out, the cover is a rainbow iridescent glitter. One thing that I don't like about this binder is that the rings are so small. Once you start adding pins to the pages, they get too bulky and you end up having a hard time fitting all 8 pages in the binder. I have less than 50 mins, but there is no way all of them will fit in this binder because of the bulk. If the rings were bigger, I believe this issues would be solved.I reccommend this binder for people who are truly starting out, maybe with less than 25 pins, or for taking a subset of your pins to Disneyland for pin trading.

As a Disney pin collector I'd say this travel album would work perfectly to carry your trading pins in. Fits nicely in your bag or backpack. This black trimmed book also has glitter on the front and back cover adding a nice touch. It comes with 8 of the black pages that your pins go on and 7 of the clear protection pages so your pins don't get scratched. The price and quality are both great in my opinion.Disclosure: This product was received for free as part of the Amazon Vine Program. The review I have provided is an honest review and I have had no contact with the company.

When I go “the parks” I typically have a plastic baggie full of pins to trade in my backpack. This is going to be great. It in the bag and does not take up a ton of room. I I’m going to put in all of the pens I want to trade so they are easy to display to other traders or easy to look at.The binder is quite small and came with plenty of pages. Almost too many. If I put in too many pins, I don’t think it’s going to shut. I removed a handful of pages and have them set aside to put pins on them. I’m only going to have two or three pages of pins in at any given moment to take with me.The zipper has a learning curve. You have to pull the end of the material tight to get it to start going around the upper edge of the book.Otherwise, the book seems quite well-made. There are plenty of pages and plastic protective dividers.I think my pins are going to do much better than this than bouncing around and wearing in a bag like I used to doDid I mention the cover is sparkly? Because it really really is!
