We proudly present the Pilot FriXion Light Erasable Highlighter - 6 Color Set. These amazing FriXion Light highlighters are erasable! While highlighting textbooks and notes, sometimes you might accidentally highlight the wrong word, or you might over-highlight a chapter and want to un-highlight certain sections. If you're using the FriXion Light highlighters, that's no problem, because you can erase your highlighting! Simply use the rubber "eraser" tip at the top of the highlighter. The ink disappears cleanly, and there are no eraser shavings. The highlighters are eco-friendly too, made of 87% recycled materials. This set contains 6 colors: Pink, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple. FriXion ink is a thermosensitive ink that can be erased by rubbing. Interestingly, erased ink reappears at temperatures below 14 F (-10 C). A freezer is cold enough to make this happen. Due to the thermosensitive nature of FriXion ink, we advise against using it for mailings, or leaving the written materials in hot cars or in environments that expose them to a lot of friction.

I haven’t put them through their paces yet, but the colors a nice and bright! Lately I’ve only been able to find pastel highlighters (frixion), which really aren’t visible or bright enough. These should be great! I use them to mark dates on a wall calendar.

I use these in my planner/calendar's book as my plans change frequently with my job. Makes the ease of changing plans less stressful. The ink doesn’t smear and pairs well with the erasable ink pens.

The Pilot FriXion Light Erasable Highlighters are fantastic! The vibrant colors (pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet) pop on the page, and the erasable feature is a game-changer for note-taking. Smooth application without smudging. This series of pens, markers, marker pens, highlighters are by far my favorite. They work so much better than the ones from the 90s that are still sold today even with progress. They erase easily and leave behind no extra tint of color, they don't bleed, they go smoothly over the pen without messing. It doss take a second or 2 to dry completely. Love these will to buy!

I ordered these because I found an erasable highlighter in my office and I couldn't find one like it anywhere. I ordered these and the BAZIC ones. These are a good deal better at erasing even though somewhat less impressive as a highlighter. The BAZIC ones have like a magic ink based erasing mechanism while these are more friction based in that you actually erase the highlighting like you would erase pencil markings. As far as highlighting goes, these are highlighters, they add color to printed text on paper. They are not the most vibrant colors, but they stand out and if all you want is a highlighter, there are better products out there; BUT if you ever need to erase something you've highlighted, I think these are a definite buy. Of all the erasable highlighters I've tried out, these are by far the best at getting almost all of the highlighting to disappear. For all the highlighters I've purchased, yellow is the easiest to erase, all the other colors still leave a bit of a tint on the page. Yellow is least noticeable. Pink is most noticeable. So why do I recommend these over BAZIC and even the original nameless erasable highlighter in my office? Because it's the only one that works well without smudging ink below and even erases itself if another highlighter has been used in the same spot. So, in my experiment I highlighted with the Pilot Frixion and then the BAZIC in the same spot and then tried to erase. The Pilot was better at erasing the Pilot when the BAZIC was present (on or under the Pilot) than the BAZIC was at erasing the BAZIC. Also, because the Frixion uses some kind of wet ink eraser, it was more likely to smudge the underlying highlighted ink than the Pilot. The Frixion does have significantly greater potential to degrade the paper since it requires a little more elbow grease.I seriously do not recommend any of the darker colors and would prefer an all-yelloe pack. If you plan on erasing multiple colors of highlighter, maybe wait for an improved version of this one.

As a PhD student, I highlight a LOT. Books, articles, other people's papers that I am proofreading or grading, my own papers, etc. Highlighting is an essential skill if you want to make any sense of the pile of readings each week when you are in grad school. However, sometimes I later realize that a point was not as significant as I felt before or I decide that I ought to have used a different color (I like to color-code). Sometimes I highlight something by mistake. Sometimes I highlight too much. And this is why I need erasable highlighters. The problem with normal highlighters is twofold: even the best ones can blur ink on printed out documents (not as much books because the inking is of better quality; this is mainly an issue with articles or papers that you print out on a home printer), and secondly, you cannot erase the highlighting. Pilot makes the best erasable highlighters that I have tried. They do not blur ink (except on a freshly printed document that used an ink-heavy text, but that was honestly not the fault of the highlighter), and they erase perfectly. Some erasable highlighters are too light or fade too much; these do not have that fault. Finally, the price is reasonable. Office supplies can really get a ridiculous mark-up and often aren't worth what you pay for them; I'm happy to say that Pilot continues to be a brand that is worth the price tag.If you are a student or the parent of a student (any level, although particularly post-secondary), then these highlighters should really be on your essentials list each year. Highlighting is an excellent way to aid understanding and retention. Frankly, although you pay a little more for these than some of the cheapies, it's worth it in the long run.
