This is replacement cartridges which is great. The pen didn’t have to go in the trash. Just swapped out the ink. Writes smoothly. And disappears with heat or you can use the eraser on the pen. I like that the ink color is true blue not a navy blue.

I love that I don’t have to buy a new pen. The ink erases really well with no smudging. There isn’t a lot of ink, though. If you write a lot with the pen, get a few refills.

Frixon pens are well made and should not be viewed as disposable. Get the refills, easy to use, and they provide the same exact ink that came with the pen.

I've been a daily user for many, many years (lately having a fling with the ), but now I've discovered the joys of a truly erasable pen!The new Pilot Frixion pens - unlike the older erasable ink pens - write with the smooth gel ink that Pilot is known for, and erase without disturbing the paper. Ok, they erase the first time, but if you keep on making mistakes, eventually the paper becomes a bit worn. Neatly erase, and re-write in almost-true black, or vibrant blue (or any of the other 10 colors). Pens that click or pens with cap.I've got one clipped into my filoFAX, and it's perfect for planner use. No more choosing between faint pencil, and endless white-out when plans change. I also use them in summaries at work, where I frequently need to revise data as new information comes in; the final form looks perfect without a final re-writing, and that is worth its weight in gold.These refills are especially nice, capped with tiny closed tubes, rather than the usual balls-that-fall-off. I put one in my purse without hesitation. They don't seem to last as long as G2 refills, but I'm spending far less on , and if I truly wanted to save money (rather than enjoy the pleasures of a good pen) I'd be buying the dreadful finger-killing BIC pens by the dozen!
