Pilot performance LED bulbs produce more light per watt and less heat, which enhances visibility, safety and creative lighting needs. LED bulbs are much more economical and efficient, lasting up to 50,000 hours. All Pilot performance LED bulbs allow for easy plug and play installation. Built-in CAN bus technology eliminates bulb out and error messages. Pilot LED bulbs come in amber, white, blue, red, green, and multi-color.

The mounting barrel was too big to fit in the lamp socket in the tail light assembly. I scraped out the opening of the tail light assembly and got it to work. It does cause hyper flashing so I need to get flasher discussed in other reviews.

I love these lights in my car. I am planning to replace all my interior and exterior lights with these LED lights.

NOTE: This comment does not reflect the functionality of the product. It works fine. The issue is the purpose of the part and their tech support line.I bought this part for my Honda Ridgeline to replace the brake lights. Needless to say, it only worked for the brake lights and not the taillights, which like most cars/trucks is a dual duty bulb. Meaning, the taillights do not turn on when you turn on your headlights or parking lights, but work when pushing the brake pedal.According to the manufacturer's site this part, IL-7440W-15, is for the signal light. IL-7443W-15 is listed as the part for the brake light. This Amazon store lists the 7443W for the "turn/tail light" and the 7440W for the "stop/tail light."According to their customer service center, this Amazon store is not a Pilot Automotive store, but a third party vendor. So you will have to use the manufacturer site to find the correct part for your automobile: www.pilotautomotive.comDon't bother calling their customer or tech support line, because they'll just tell you (as they did me) that they have no way of looking up the part for your vehicle. They don't even know how their own site works or that it has an automobile selector. I had to tell the CSR/Sales Rep. how their site worked. I won't buy from this manufacturer again.

despite the massive price tag(in comparison to comparable products) there are some big problems here. The bulb body would not fit through the opening in my light assemblies. To fix this you need to have the correct size bit to open the opening up a shade. Without the right bit you risk damaging the mounting ring. It needs to be opened up about another 2mm.Despite the claim in to the contrary in bold letters on the label itself - these bulbs do throw a fast flash CANBUS error for a dead bulb.I paid the high price and I modified my taillight assemblies to accommodate the bulb body, but I got to say the CANBUS error was the last straw that led to my disappointment here. I called Pilot in an attempt to see if I had done something wrong. The tech said they had learned that if you have other LED lights on the circuit adding the Pilot LED lights into the circuit will throw a fast flash error. So they know there is a problem. I have LED turn signals in my mirrors stock. I asked if the bulb itself had a resistor or the like - he said no and that on most cars they worked fine. So despite the price tag they are banking on the number of LEDs to meet the resistance need and did not include a resistor. He advised I buy a flasher relay for my car that was LED light friendly. I drive a Subaru - the only one I could find was an aftermarket $109 relay delivered out of Canada and of unknown durability. Thanks. This product is a pretty poor in its totality IMO.

Received the LED's and works well, however I had a terrible time fitting the bulbs into the housing. The bulb housing was a mm to large for my vehicle lights housing. I ended up having to use a dremel to grind down the housing on the bulb to fit. Took some time and trial and error,

I would give this a 5, but I bought it for the stop/tail light. It is not right for that application. It only has one set of lights, and the Miata needs a stop and a tail light in one bulb. That means more than two wires! Instead of returning it, I put it in the plug for the back-up (reverse) light. WOW! Great visibility when backing up. I highly recommend for that application. One note, you have to carefully push it into the hole. It's tight for the backup bulb.
