Why Should I Clean Between My Teeth?

How often should I use Piksters?
Use Piksters at least once a day when cleaning your teeth. They can also be used with fluoride toothpaste for better decay prevention in the gaps.
Piksters can be carried in your pocket and used in many situations, particularly after meals when you can’t access a bathroom.
How do I use Piksters correctly?
1. Choose the correct size for comfortable insertion [see sizing guide].
2. BACK TEETH: Push the tip over to an angle of approximately 45 – 90 degrees and insert the brush slowly with a gentle twisting or wriggling action. Our Right Angle Piksters are ideal for back teeth.
3. FRONT TEETH: Insert the brush head straight and in line with the handle, also with a gentle twisting or wriggling action. Twisting helps the brush head go in with less bending of the wire.
Which size Piksters should I use?
A great place to start is a full-size pack in SMALL sizes and add or refine with MEDIUM & LARGE sizes.

The plastic around the top of the handle breaks off piece by piece as you use the brush. It is used to hold the wire brush in place. But as the plastic breaks off piece by piece, the brush turns around instead of staying in place. It is impossible to use. See the picture, the brush on the right is after 3 days and the one on the left is after 1 day of use.

I prefer these to the dental sticks recommended by my dentist. Longer handle with additional handle to extend makes it easy to use. I have used these from size 00 to 7 during sone dental correction work and all worthwhile.

These have a strong, stiff wire compared to other brands, so they don't immediately bend over and kink like some. And they come in any size you could possibly need: I recommend getting the variety pack first, just to be sure which size you want. They may cost a little more, but the better durability and reduced frustration is worth it.
