I like this tray for under my oil tank. I had a leak from the original copper tubing (1957)(why my oil company never changed it out I don't know). It fits under the tank and covers about 3/4 way down. It would give some warning and absorb some leakage. I should have thought of this 30 years ago. Nicely made, sturdy and substantial. The only area it does not fit is where the copper tubing comes out of the tank. I got a small "cookie sheet" type tray for that spot. If you don't have one I suggest you get one asap. heating oil stinks and gets everywhere when there is a leak.

Nice thick plastic. I can't fault the pan for not being 100% what I need - I knew what I was getting when I ordered it. I would like it if the bottom was lighter in color so you could easily see dripped oil and i would also like to have an Add on piece to go under an external tank filter so that it is all one pan. But it is great and arrived quickly and intact.
