I think it's worth the asking price. Yes- the light is plastic but it looks nice and it's really not noticeable until you pick it up. I like that it highlights without alteration of the colors. I have a beautiful museum color print in a brass and black frame that it looks extremely well with. I also think it will look nice with some black and white photographs. I'll try that later. Mine held a charge for 3 days straight, when I left it on high. Much longer, (I want to say it was close to 3 weeks) when I only turned it on for a few hours (4-6) every evening. I'll update my review if anything changes. All things considered, style, price, quality, & length of use between charges-I like it.

After fully charging it, it turns off within seconds. Charged it again and that didn’t fix the problem. Returning it.

Works as expected. The rechargeable gallery light is easy to install and the remote control is convenient for turning it on and off or adjusting brightness. Light output is decent, though not especially bright. It’s a functional option for highlighting artwork without needing to hardwire anything.

I picked up this picture light to test it out for use in our trade show booth, where we hang tall marketing panels. It clips to the top of one of our display frames and throws just the right amount of light to make the printed fabric and designs really pop. The impact is bigger than you'd expect from such a slim fixture, once it’s on, it really draws attention. This was a test run to see if it was worth buying more, and it passed. We have four panels total, and I’ll definitely be picking up three more of these. Now, in terms of build quality, it’s not exactly premium. The fit and finish feel a little budget, especially during setup or when the light is off. But once the light is on and doing its job, the fixture fades into the background, and all you notice is the glow. For the price, I think it's a solid buy. It works, it looks good in action, and it gets the job done, and the fact that I’m going back to buy more says it all.

It is plastic and light weight. Kind of cheaper looking than hoping for but the light and tone is great. Perfect for a spot on a poster. Will see how long the light lasts on a charge. I’ll report back if there are any issues.

This is a very nice rechargeable LED wall light (5w) designed to illuminate paintings. It was easy to mount as installation consists of affixing a small bracket (2 screws) to the wall and settling to light on it. A round remote (RF) is supplied and includes a magnetic mounting pad should you wish to use it. Both light and remote provide control over power, brightness, color temperature with the remote adding a 30 min timer. Light has a fully adjustable goose neck and lights can even fold out of the way. The base is quite thin and can be mounted behind the top of painting depending upon how it hung. Color temperature settings are critical to accurately render the painting’s tones accurately. After a 3 hours charge, light lasted about 20 hours on low setting. For my needs, I will use it as a music light on a digital piano, an application it is equally qualified for. Excellent value.
