Handle fell apart 3rd day, had to beef it up. Nice looking. Really good size, fits all and yet not to big. Works well, I mean it's just a picnic basket.

One of the glasses came in broken. It is weird because there was nothing around it to cause the break. The basket is built cheap and way overpriced. The cutlery sets are really ugly and seem cheaper than dollar store quality. Buy with intentions of replacing the whole thing including the basket :/

I went through two of these baskets and both were very poor quality. So I ordered this picnic basket for my girlfriends birthday with the intention of taking her for a picnic at the lake as the birthday activity. So the first basket arrives 4 days before her birthday and one of the fake leather straps that holds the plates in was completely torn in half and the plates were loose in the bottom of the basket. I called Amazon and as usually their service was outstanding, they didn't have anymore in stock but they found a third party vendor that did and they paid for next day shipping to ensure I got it in time. Like I said Amazon is amazing. Anyways, the replacement basket arrives in time and in good order. Initial appearances looked good and it was a big hit with the lady. Problems arose when we packed it up and went to carry it to the car, the carry handle is held on by cheap brass pins and they immediately started pulling out through the wicker. Think about the brass pins you use to attach papers together where you fold the tabs apart on the backside to secure them, that's pretty much all that is holding the handle on. This basket is allegedly setup to handle a picnic for four people and it couldn't carry the weight of enough food for two. I ended up carrying it in my arms so the handle wouldn't come completely off. Overall construction uses very cheap materials (made in China) and I was expecting much more for $99. After all it is just a wicker basket with lining and dish setup, had they spend a couple dollars more on quality fasteners and leather straps this thing would have been amazing. Very disappointing.

This is the third Picnic Time picnic basket I've purchased as a gift and I cannot recommend it enough. It is completely study, stylish and always gets compliments wherever we go with it (We have a $300 version, but this one is better priced for a gift). It easily holds up to two bottles of wine and plenty of food. The plates and silverware are much nicer than you would expect. The best part of having it is that it encourages you to get out there and take picnics all the time.

The basket was very well constructed and made for a fashionable and elegant presentation. The dishes, glasses and utensils were all well made and functional. If I have any criticism, it would be that the handle makes carrying awkward. I would think that two handles on the side would be much more functional.All in all though, I found it to be a wonderful basket for the price and it made for a very nice Valentine's Day present for my wife, who was thrilled with it.

I just love this picnic basket! All of the items are durable and even the wicker type basket seems to be pretty solid. I'm hoping to get a lot of long usage out of this basket (especially considering the price), but I am already worried about the handle. It isn't loose or anything, but when I pick it up when fully loaded, it just doesn't feel as sturdy as I would like it to be. Hopefully it's just my imagination, but I am looking into reinforcing it as to protect my investment considering it only has one handle.

I absolutely love this picnic set. Very spacious, could pack enough goodies for a party of 6. Took it out for the first time several weeks ago and had many compliments! The only problem I had (hence the 2 stars) was one of the wine glasses broke as I was drying it off after washing. I was drying the inside with a towel and all a sudden - snap - a fraction of the top broke off. I was a little surprised because I thought they were a bit sturdier. Other than that I am glad I bought this set as it will be used many times.
