HIgh quality steel wire of accurate dimension, ranging in size from 9 thousandths to 29 thousandths of an inch. Much better range of sizes than is normally found in storefront or online hobby shops. My wire from "In Tune Piano Supply" came nicely individually bagged with labeling.NOTE: This is small but hard wire that will nick most wire cutters. Use of specific hard-wire cutters will save your good cutters for the soft wire they were meant for.

Does not have strings for a standard piano

I just bought a 1915 piano in need of TLC. This pack is perfect as older pianos don't always have the gauge marked on each string. So far, it's been perfect for replacing a few broken strings and I now know what gauge I need for each string.
