Ordered the hinge, first thing I did was the magnet test to see if it was stainless. Hinge passed the test but the provided screws were mild steel, stuck like a limpet to the magnet. This was important as they were going into a salt water environment so I had to make a trip out to get stainless fasteners.

HD has a similar hinge at half the price, BUT the HD hinge is only half the thickness....0.020" vs this hinge which is 0.040". You can hold this 36" hinge horizontally, suspended only at one end and the other end barely sags. If you're attaching this to any that's at all heavy, the extra thickness is worth it. You do get what you pay for. This came packed loose in a crazy large box, but it survived OK.

hinge looked good but not as described listed as two 30 in hinges witch i needed got two 12 in hinges had correct part # on it returned now have to reorder

Very nicely made piano hinges as described, with clever packing to avoid bending. And also come with the stainless steel screws for installation. Recommended
