Our supplement contains the four basic digestive enzymes to ensure proper digestion: Alpha-Amylase, Lipase, Cellulase, and Protease. Collectively they help break down and digest protein, carbohydrates, starches, fat, and fiber. These enzymes are all plant-based and they will not be damaged by the stomach's acidic contents. Syner-G Digestive Enzymes can also be beneficial for pets that have skin allergies or to those who shed a lot of hair. Recommended for cats or dogs with problems digesting or experiencing gas or bloating.

I mixed with my cats food in hopes to reduce her yacking (puking). I didn't notice any change so based on that I'll say the product is just "okay". I'm sure it did provide her with some added nutrients but there's no telling really. I wouldn't recommend nor not recommend...

My old lab-pointer mix has been emitting increasingly worse, eye-wateringly pungent, fumes. After having the vet look him over, it seems he was not ill, just a stinky old guy. No joke -- my fiance' came in my room one evening, where the doggie and I were both sleeping, and he had to open the windows and prop the bedroom door open. He said he was afraid the methane content of the air was going to suffocate me in my sleep. Soooo I went Amazon shopping and ran across this stuff. Despite it's claiming to be "granules," the stuff is just a slightly coarse powder. I notice the other reviewers comments said it has a meaty sort of smell; maybe the doggy noxious emissions have destroyed my nasal passages or fried some scent receptors in my brain, but to me this stuff smells vaguely sweet and sort of chocolaty. Anyway, the old guy (the dog, not the fiance') has noticeably less of a stench-cloud around him, and that is all that counts. Recommended!

We have 3 dogs. We have a Golden Retriever mixed with Basset Hound, a Aussie Shepard/Chow mix, and a pure Pit Bull. The Golden and the Pit have extremely bad gas. That's why I've had them all on an enzyme for a few years now. I was purchasing a product that was working well, but was a little on the bitter side of taste. This product calls for more to be used, but it seems to have a liver type flavor that they seem to really like. Gas stays to a minimum, and I think that the price is real reasonable. I will buy again.
