  • Color pigments may settle at the bottom. To ensure even distribution and successful prints, shake the resin bottle for 30 seconds to 1 minute before pouring it into the resin vat. Without shaking, it may cure unevenly, leading to print failures.

  • PIXUP, Thingiverse, GrabCad, Turbosquid, Cults 3D, CGTrader, Yeggi, MyMiniFactory, Thangs, Printables.com

  • Store resin in a cool, dark place in its original container with the lid tightly sealed to prevent contamination and degradation.

  • All the recommend printing parameters are provided. Refer to resin profile spreadsheet on Phrozen website.

  • We recommend Aqua Hyperfine, Aqua 8K, and Aqua 4K. These resins are ideal for high precision and detail, helping you achieve professional-grade action figures with sharp details and a smooth surface finish.

I’m not sure if this 8K resin provides more detail than the 4K, but it’s still better because the prints come out less brittle and a little flexible if you don’t over-cure them. I’ve used the Phrozen 4K resin now for a couple years and immediately noticed the improvement on my first prints with the 8K. Try the default settings that Phrozen loads in when you select 8K resin from the menu. They were pretty close to spot-on for me. Since both resins are about the same price, you may as well buy the 8K resin (which works perfectly fine even if your printer isn’t 8K) since it’s a little less brittle.

The is the first (and only) resin I've used it my Phrozen Sonic Mighty 8K. So I can't compare it to any other resins yet, just give my observations. The only comparative I can make is that it's twice the price of most other resins. Maybe you get what you pay for, I can't say yet.Detail seems good. Again, I can't compare to other resins. The setup was nice. The printer already has built in settings for it, though mine needed some tweaking, and still might.Smell-I dont feel it is that bad. I'm not overly sensitive to resins-Ive used various epoxies and even worked in fiberglass composites. This definitely has an odor, but I dont consider it excessive. The only issue I've had really is it always seems tacky. Maybe all resins are like this, but even after full cure (total about 30 minutes in a cure station in various positions) it still feels almost sticky. Things don't actually stick to it, just feels sticky. It is fairly flexible before full cure, but won't return to true. It's also fairly brittle after full cure. Again, maybe common to all resins, I dont know.I've had some other minor issues, but I can't say it was the resins fault. I've had one item stick, but I think the supports failed and it stuck to the vat. I've had 2 miniatures that have had parts that simply didn't print. No evidence they stuck to the vat, or broke off, they just didn't seem to print at all. Another after a print, I pulled a glob of semi dried resin from the vat. The print was fine, no issues. Just a glob of resin sitting in the vat.Overall, I can't complain about it. It works. I intend to try some other cheaper resins to see if the higher price of this is worth it.

As temperamental as other liquid resins but found after curing this stuff became incredibly incredibly fragile so that if something dropped it didn't just break it exploded. But works

Beautiful quality prints, very consistent very low odor. I have yet to have any issues with this resin at all. I've been meaning to try the other colors out but haven't had a chance since the grey works so well for what I use it for. Phrozen provides quality products and service without compromise.

The quality of prints produced with this resin is outstanding, with smooth finishes and precise details that truly bring my designs to life. Not only does it deliver impeccable results, but it also offers excellent adhesion to the build plate, minimizing the risk of print failures. One of the standout features of this resin is its low odor formulation, making the printing process much more pleasant compared to other resins I’ve used in the past. Additionally, the resin’s fast curing time ensures quick turnaround for my projects, allowing me to work efficiently without compromising on quality.Furthermore, the versatility of this resin is impressive, as it works seamlessly with a variety of 3D printers, providing consistent results across different models and brands. Whether I’m printing intricate miniatures or functional prototypes, this resin delivers consistent, high-quality prints every time.Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with [3D Printer Resin]. Its exceptional performance, low odor, and compatibility with various printers make it a top choice for anyone looking to achieve professional-grade 3D prints. I highly recommend it to both beginners and experienced users alike.

This is my favourite 8k resin. Very low viscosity so watch out for splash back as the plate rises from the vat after a finished print. It's brittle, like all 8k resins. So I mix an 80/20 mix of Onyx Pro 410 for a stronger rigid print, without sacrificing any quality. (You can also use an Onyx Impact or Siraya Tenacious for a toughener) That mix also reduces the viscosity a little bit (they are very close in their viscosity), and I haven't had a splash back issue since.Attached photos were printed on a Phrozen Sonic Mini 8ks, .02 layer height, 1.3 second exposure, 45mm/m lift speed. temperature controlled vat @ 30C.

I'm new to the 3D Print game with a Phrozen Mega8K printer. So far the resins I've tried are (Proto-White, Aqua 4K Grey, & Aqua 8K Grey.) So far... the 8K is DEFINITELY the smoothest so far & gives the most detail. The others were "OK" but the 8K even seems to.... if I can use the term (Burns clean)! In other words, after a print, I don't even have bits of "baked resin" left over in the vat. Now granted - I'm no expert yet, maybe I had my settings wrong on the others, and I was also using a rather clunky slicer. I don't want to say the name though because others might like it. I don't want to just put it in a ... box.. like that.🤭I also may have been doing something wrong. But my prints are finally starting to come out pretty sharp & clean with this 8K resin ... (after burning through 3-4 bottles of the other resins I mentioned).. I'm finally getting some interesting results... but - I could just be learning more too - or a combo of all the above.

This stuff works great and is easy to work with. Prints are not transparent and very strong with low or no odor. While prints are strong, they are not very pliable so making parts that snap together will likely result in a failure.
