I AM A COOKIE DECORATOR AND THIS PRODUCT HAS BEEN A GAMECHANGER IN MY BUSINESS. I WOULD RECOMMED, HOWEVER, I WAS UNABLE TO USE WITH MY PHONE AND I HAD TO BORROW MY SONS IPHONE. ONCE I CONNECTED TO HIS PHONE IT WAS EXTREMELY EASY USE. I WOULD SAY TO ANY COOKIE DECORATOR OUT THERE, GO AHEAD AND SPLURGE, IT IS WORTH IT!

This works perfectly for my use. I wanted something to mount my phone on to use as a second camera for teaching art. This works fine for that.I see mixed reviews. Some problems are obviously because the purchaser couldn't figure out how to assemble it, or couldn't figure out how to get to to work. It comes without instructions, so the technically challenged are sure to have problems. I tend to put simple things like this together w/o instructions anyway.There is a link for "user manual" on the Amazon page, but it links to an entirely different item. There is a piece included with this that I have not figured out what it is used for. The "user manual" was obviously no help since it was for some electronic gadget.Overall I would say it is very useful for limited applications. You could mount a light camera on it, but I wouldn't trust it with a DSLR.

Great little tripod. Used to mount my phone on and take photos of photos to download to my computer. It is not very sturdy and needed to weight down corners when shooting straight down. Reduced vibration by turning phone to silent. However was able to copy over 6,000 photos . It is much sturdier holding the camera straight rather than straight down. Folds down and stores in almost no room
