It's a really cute design but I was disappointed to find it has only one font programmed into the unit. To choose different fonts, you'd have to use the app, which defeats the purpose of it having a keyboard and being this bulky. I'm rather picky with the font choices and do like the fonts & customization on the app, however, it is only accessible and saved on the app itself--of which we also cannot import fonts or save templates to the actual unit. I really wanted to keep this b/c of how cute it looks, but functionality-wise, I didn't like the idea of having to bring out my phone to use it every time. I find that it's a missed opportunity for this M950 label maker to be a standalone device with a batch of customizations built-in, seeing that it has backlight and is rechargeable. It printed well and I liked the auto-spacing it has between each cut where it doesn't waste tape like other models.. but I ultimately returned it b/c of having to use my phone with it. If you don't mind the default font or somewhat bulky size despite using your phone for the app, I'd say it's a solid choice.

Dymo is the label maker brand all others try to be. This does have Bluetooth connectivity as well a keyboard on the unit. That should cover your bases. App works well enough. Print quality is good. As is the build quality of the unit. I like that it's rechargeable. Overall, decent label maker. Buy the Dymo if you can afford one. They have the best availability of replacement supplies. Otherwise, this works fine.

This printer is awesome. Comes loaded with a bunch of options and abilities to create anything. Pear this with the app and what you can do is unlimited (up to the 12mm width paper). Super easy to set up and get running. Also easy to connect to the app.

I was reading reviews and it seems like no label maker is very well made unless you are willing to spend a lot of money. I find it best to feed the tape 2 times but make sure that it moves because if it’s jammed, it won’t move. Once the tape is past the problem spot it works pretty well. You can add little picture if you use the app. I do struggle to get it to type large if I try to use the key pad. I didn’t want to have to use my phone but it works best that way.

I have a few other Phomemo label printers, but this is the first with a built in keyboard and display. It comes with a tape cartridge that is a "laminated" format. I haven't seen one like this before, but instead of standard thermal paper tape, it has a black film that needs to be peeled off the face of your label after printing.I like the look of the finished labels from this tape, but the peeling process is a bit fiddly. I suspect that these labels will be more durable because of the plastic layer on the top surface. The thermal labels I am used to are just paper, so can be less wear resistant.Overall I am happy with the printer. The only other odd thing is the length display in the bottom corner of the display when using it without a phone app. I can't find documentation of this value (which shows as 141mm in one of my photos), so I just assume it is the length of the finished label. However, the real labels tend to print shorter than this value.Other than the weird length display, I really like this simple label printer for it's capability to run standalone, or to use it with the Print Master phone app (which I have used in the past with my other Phomemo label printers).

This label maker works well and was simple to pair with my phone. The user manual is well written and easy to follow. You just need to download the ‘Print Master’ App if you want to print using a device. I downloaded it from the Google Play Store and had the label maker paired within seconds. The label maker can be used without an App and you have the option to shut off Bluetooth on the machine. The label tape has a black plastic film that cuts off with the tape. You remove this piece and then open the tape from the back to access the sticky part needed to place the label. The tape is .47 inches wide so you can put up to 3 lines of text, but it will be small printing. There is an amazing array of design possibilities complete with symbols which makes this very versatile. You can also save up to 9 labels that you create and recall them when needed. The printing resolution is 203 dpi, and I included a pic of some sample labels. The font is clear and no rough edges. The printing is crisp. One of the best features about this label maker is it is rechargeable. The USB-C charging cable is included but no charging block. There is a warning sticker though not to use a charger over 5-volts. There is also a reset button to remove any saved data from the label maker. The screen is easy to read and has a back light that comes on when you press any key and goes out after a few seconds to conserve battery power. You can still see the screen and options when the light is off.At the time of this review there is an available 11-dollar coupon. This makes this a good deal. The printer is compact and light, works great, has a lot of label options, and is easy to use.

The Phomemo M950 feels well made, it’s bulky and a little heavy but I like that it’s rechargeable, unlike my old battery operated one.Refills are around $25 for 3 cartridges which is not bad but you will likely need to order extra because the device doesn’t come with a full cartridge, just a starter. The carbon transfer tape confuses me, it’s the first time I have seen this on a label maker, it seems like a step backwards. It’s unnecessary and wasteful (I’m surprised it’s not thermal). The only good thing about the tape is the backing is easy to remove.I wasn’t going to bother with the app but the app is much easier to navigate than the device itself. While I’m not sold on the idea of the transfer tape, this is a good label printer. I like it but I don’t love it.

I bought this for my mother. Wanted to make sure it was easy to use to prevent issues. It proved to be great. I haven't tried connecting to my phone and I know she wont bother. I don't think she would tell me if she didn't like it, but I personally had no issues using it. I really like that its rechargeable.

This Phomemo is easy to quickly use. Unlike many other label makers, you have the option of using the keyboard or bluetooth on your phone to create labels. The keyboard is easier if you want to quickly create a label without pulling out your phone, or if you don't have internet available. A huge bonus for this label maker is that it's also rechargeable. Print quality and speed are good for my uses. There's soo many customization options for the labels as well. From fonts, frames, and symbols, you can get exactly what you're looking for. I don't even know who has the patience to go through 1200+ symbols.
