It's nice. Its comfortable. The instructions are good. Unfortunately someone dropped the ball on packaging and it's marred in the same spot on both sides. If the marks were in the back obviously I wouldn't care. But they're highly visible right in front. Pretty disappointing but no way I'm disassembling to return. Will look for some touch up stain. 😑

We ordered this for our game room/guest room.The mattress is more mattress like than futons past. It’s firm and comfortable as a couch or bed.My husband put it together without hassle, it didn’t take very long. The directions were straightforward and all parts/pieces accounted for.It is a bit difficult to transition than the futons we’ve had in the past- but that’s probably because it’s brand new- and we don’t shift it often.Good quality for a good price.

This is a very good quality futon sofa bed. Feels very solid. Easily worth the price. Very easy to assemble. Perfect for a guest bedroom which is where I put it. The mattress is well made and surprisingly very comfortable in both sitting and sleeping positions. The hinge system inside the mattress is genius. Lives up to the hype. The mattress does not slip off the frame. No need to waste money on anti-slip products. It's got great lumbar support. I like that there are two sitting positions. It does take some strength to convert it from sofa to bed and vice versa. You don't have to be Hercules but your grandmother probably couldn't do it.

This product has been horrible. From the day it was delivered to the wrong address to the day we started to build this bed/ sofa. When beginning the bed pieces come somewhat assembled but they do not match the holes that are in the wood. We had to do our best to match them to their holes. When putting everything together was a pain in the butt. The wooden pegs would move out of place. To put everything together took 5 people when the instructions said only 2 people needed.When Turing from sofa to bed you need three people. One to pull the bed out and the second to hold onto each side so the rollers don’t pop out. To avoid this, I put two drawers on each side to place pressure so it only takes 1 person now.Although every time you pull up or out to make from sofa to bed; the joints loosen and now pop out. We have decided to keep it as a sofa now. Worst purchase ever. We are looking now towards IKEA since we know IKEA furniture last longer than this.Don’t waste your money.

Great futon, i wanted something I knew would last, and that came with everything. Not just a frame, with no mattress or vice versa. The product was set to arrive today, I received it a day early, yesterday afternoon to be exact, so kudos for fast delivery. This one is brand new and you can still smell the fresh stain on the wood itself. Which means it hasn't been sitting collecting dust in a warehouse for months. Which is great.Putting it together like most products of this size, is/was a pain. I recommend anyone putting it together, not to go by the piece numbers, simply go by the colored dots that are on the wooden pieces. We figured that out after spending to much time, trying to hard to get the pieces matched up. Haven't put in the drawers yet but I'm sure it'll be great.The comfort is second to none, and I've slept on many beds, couches, futons, and this is by far the most comfortable I've slept (or sat on) yet. Like typical wooden products it does creak a bit, but not annoyingly so. Also it has almost no give with the super strong springs inside the mattress. It's like laying on a nice pocket of air. Even when folded in the couch sitting position. Also it's very easy on the eyes and goes great in my retro apartment. If it falls apart or I start having nightmares about being attacked by Bears I'll update my review. Good price, good quality, great comfort. Enough said. ;o)

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this futon. Made from sturdy hardwood that should last for years. You need quite a big space to assemble the unit, but assembly is straight forward, the directions are clear, and the pieces are color coded. This is definitely a two-person job. The frames, and the mattress are too heavy and awkward for one person. Once assembled, the futon is comfortable for both sitting and sleeping. The inter-spring mattress is quite comfortable to lay on. Great for guests in our spare bedroom/den. The roll out drawers offer convenient storage for the linens and blankets. Good value in a quality futon!

We needed something for our family room that could hold up against my cats! I found these at our local furniture store that guaranteed they would meet the price, well they couldn't. I didn't fight with them, I just ordered them from Amazon! They are exactly as pictured. They have the arm "trays" and the drawers. They are a great dark brown... oh by the way I bought two of them. I had to sleep on one of them for two weeks after I had surgery. They are very comfortable. They aren't a plush sectional, so don't expect that level of comfort. However, I love them and they are holding up great! They do take some time to put together, and requires two people. One of them does creak when you sit on it, but I still love them. We have looked at a lot of futons, couches, and even considered having something made. We wanted something that our cats couldn't scratch up the arms. We also wanted something that looks good from the back, not metal or unfinished. These are nice all the way around!
