These high flow cats are made of steel that is plenty thick enough for the muffler shop to weld. These look like they will outlast the rest of my exhaust system because they are made with thicker metal. The fine honeycomb mesh inside also seems like it will not restrict the air flow of my exhaust. I am happy with these Cats, and they cost around 25% of what the muffler shop wanted for their converters.

Nice set of catalytic converters.I live in an area that only requires visual inspection of emissions equipment.I really can't say that these will turn off/keep off your check engine light.I CAN say that they will make your exhaust sound more mellow if you are running straight pipes or glass packs.The build quality is good and the steel is thick enough that you don't burn through it when MIG welding.They look identical to the ones pictured in the Ad.

I’ve decided to put my G-body race car back on the street, and these economically-priced catalytic converters are a key step for passing state emissions testing. They are 2.5” in diameter and feature a high flow core that won’t sacrifice performance. I can’t wait to get it legal!
