Can’t speak to longevity but they all burned and printed great!

Used these to make some project home theater demo discs that required just short of the 50GB limit on each disc. Each disc was burned without a single issue, and absolutely no flaws whatsoever and seamless! Was able to print directly to disc with my Canon Pixma MX922 inkjet printer as well. Quality is outstanding and performance was perfect. Now, that being said, writing to a disc of this size will require a LOT of computer resources and stability. My PC is running Windows 7 Ultimate with 8gb RAM, 2TB primary HD and an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 at 2.5Ghz. My Blu-ray drive is an LG WH14NS40 SATA. What I would NOT suggest, is trying to use a general laptop to burn these discs via external blu-ray burner drive. I can almost guarantee you're likely to get errors and some new coasters in the process. Exception may be made if you're using a high-end laptop with lots of RAM and a really good burner with a heavy buffer.

Not great. I've had four failed burns out of twenty discs (two 10-packs). This was using a Samsung "Portable BD Writer" model SE-506 with a MacBook Pro Retina and the Finder's built-in burn capability. After the third failure, I switched to 4x speed from the max 6x, but I still had one more failed disc even at 4x.The only thing I can add is that the Finder's apparently generic error message would suggest that the source material had become unavailable, that perhaps too many other applications were busy or that the disc was unreliable. As far as I can see, the source material (a mounted ISO image I created on my external hard disk) was always still present and that even with no other applications running it could still fail so it seems most likely that it was unreliable media.... unless this Samsung disc burner has an issue I don't know about.Anyway, I'm done with my project so I won't need to try another blank disc manufacturer.

I can’t rate the product because I ordered the 50GB dual layer 10 pack discs and was sent 25GB single layer discs from CDP Outlet. Contacted amazon and sent them back for a refund. Ordered the Digistor 10 pack 50GB dual layer discs and they worked perfect 10 for 10 burns/no coasters.

With exception to the extremely slow order processing lately by Amazon the BD-R DL disks performed perfectly. I was pleased to see a quality product from Phillips priced competitively to other quality BD-R DL and DVD-DL disks. Burned more than half of the 10 disk pack at 4X and not one failure. Will definitely buy again as an alternative to Verbatim.
