  • Philips Avent PPSU Natural bottle with the Natural Response nipple supports your baby's natural drinking rhythm: baby controls the pace of the milk flow, just like breastfeeding

  • No-drip nipple design helps prevent lost milk from the tip, giving you peace of mind at home and on the go; the bottles come with medium flow nipples (Flow 3)
  • Anti-colic valve for your and your baby's well-being: it keeps air away from your baby's tummy during feeding to reduce colic and discomfort
  • The pack includes: 2x 9oz Natural Response PPSU bottles with medium flow nipples (Flow 3), with decoration

This Philips Avent Natural bottle is made of premium PPSU, a BPA-free material. Known for its golden color, PPSU gives you both comfort and durability. PPSU has high heat resistance (up to 180°C/356°F), similar to glass baby bottles, while still being lightweight.  The Natural Response nipple with the unique opening and tip lets your baby control the pace of the milk flow, releasing it only when actively drinking - just like babies do during breastfeeding. When pausing to swallow and breathe, no milk flows. Feeding feels as natural as from the breast! Easily combine breast and bottle feeding with a wide, soft, and flexible nipple that mimics the shape and feel of a breast. It helps the baby to latch on and feed comfortably, using its natural rhythm. With the no-drip design, the nipple helps prevent spills and lost milk. An anti-colic valve integrated into the nipple is designed to reduce colic and discomfort by sending air away from your baby's tummy. The ergonomic shape makes it comfortable for parents to hold. Assembly is simple with only a few parts and the wide bottleneck makes filling and cleaning easy. It is totally natural for your baby to take 2-3 tries to get milk flowing from a new bottle. We have 5 different nipple flow rates - when looking for the right one, age is a guide, but your baby's approach to drinking and the feeding cues will help determine when to move to a higher or lower nipple flow rate. ¹ the PPSU container is heat resistance up to 180°C (356°F)/ 356°F (180°C) ² more durable than PP baby bottles, lighterweight than glass baby bottles

First thing you notice is the type of plastic is much harder than other softer plastic bottle. I also noticed that these heat up milk in the bottle warmer faster. We got these because of the nipples flow design. There are three holes but they all connect in the middle via a slit. That slit opens wider as the baby sucks more making these ideal for introducing baby oatmeal cereal since it won't clog the holes. Wide mouth makes inserting a sponge or bottle brush easier for cleaning.

Unless you've been hiding under a rock for the last few years, if you have a little one (or know someone that does), you know about Philip Avent bottles. They're great and easy to use bottles that more closely simulate nursing by letting the baby decide / "work for" the flow that they get. This, combined with a simple venting strategy, really can reduce crying and discomforts associated with bottle feeding. Beyond that, they're much easier to clean than prior industry stalwarts as each bottole on has three pieces - the bottle, nipple and collar. No complicated multi-piece vents and flow guides! These particular bottles are the "safer" plastic that is mostly required for daycares that won't use glass and come with the "stage 3" nipple - which is really meant for most kids in the 2-4 month range it would seem. The bottles are the 9oz size that kids will use for most of the time that they're bottle feeding after graduating from the small 4oz bottles they would use as true infants. They also add to the base model with some fun and colorful designs that gives the baby something to look at while they feed. On the whole, it's a slight (though seemingly no cost at the moment) and fun upgrade to an existing great bottle. So if you're in the market for a few additional bottles for daycare - or just looking to get started into the Philips Avent setup / ecosystem - this pack is a great way to accomplish just that in a way that will make baby very happy. Give them a try today!

These baby bottles are the perfect size for making a bottle. It comes with a 2 pack of 9 ounce bottles. I like the wide tip on it, which is the perfect size for baby. They are easy to hold and easy to wash as well. This would make a good baby shower gift in a gift basket too, paired with some pacifiers, a stuffed animal, clothes, rattles, etc.

We have been using the glass version of these, so getting plastic was met with some skepticism. Turns out we had no reason to be skeptical at all, these are just as good as the glass Avent bottles with the benefit of being lighter and (hopefully) less breakable. We've yet to break a glass bottle, but I feel more comfortable leaving the plastic bottle a baby that is able to throw it over the side of the stroller. These are compatible with the lids, nipples and bottle covers we have from the glass Avent bottles, so that is an extra bonus!

I've only used glass Philips Avent bottles before, so was curious to try these. They seem very well made and I like that they are lightweight. The caps fit well, as do the tops of the bottle and we haven't had any leakage from the nipples so far! I use a bottle sanitizer, so these are super easy to clean. We haven't had any issues with melting, so these are definitely good to go! It does take a little while to get used to the amber color. All our other bottles are clear, and the amber definitely adds a tinge of color to the liquid inside. They have measurements running up each side - one in ounces, the other in milliliters.I ordered the medium flow nipples - and that seems pretty accurate. These also have the anti-colic valve which is our preference. Like the glass Avent bottles, these are fairly expensive, but you do get your money's worth as they last a long time and are safe. All in all, these ae great bottles.
