Looking back at my baby registry, this purchase was one of the most used items I got! This pump is so easy to use, clean, and travel with. I love that I can manually control the suction strength and speed of pumping so as to better simulate how my baby nurses, especially as a first time mama. It was exactly what I needed for the early stages of nursing when regulating milk production and establishing feeding routines for baby are so important! I would 100% recommend and buy again.

Hand pumps are the best! I had a madella one and decided to give this one a try because we use Philips bottles. It works great! I was even able to collect colostrum with it

I bought this manual pump as a back up, and it empties me fairly quickly and efficiently. I chose this One over other options due to the silicone flange. I find the flange reasonably comfortable. It becomes more comfortable with the use of a pumping spray. The downside of this pump is that there are a lot of pieces to wash. I do like that It’s compatible with any Phillips avent bottles. I haven’t tried other manual pumps as a comparison to this one, but I would be curious to see how it performs against the popular Medela hand pump

Priced at $43.80, the Philips AVENT Manual Breast Pump has been an absolute game-changer for me. This manual pump offers exceptional value and convenience, especially for busy moms like myself. While using this pump, I've found that it's important to be gentle and patient—not pressing too much or too fast to avoid any discomfort or potential issues. However, once you find your rhythm, it works like a charm. What sets this pump apart is its compact design, making it incredibly convenient for use in the workplace or on-the-go. Unlike electric pumps, there are no cords or bulky parts to deal with, allowing for discreet and efficient pumping sessions wherever you are.I also appreciate how this pump goes straight into the bottle, minimizing any mess or hassle. It's a straightforward and efficient process that I've come to rely on.Overall, I highly recommend the Philips AVENT Manual Breast Pump to any breastfeeding mom in need of a reliable and convenient solution. It's compact, efficient, and gets the job done without any fuss.

I have loved this manual pump, even more than the fancy ones that I was gifted. You can go at your own pace to prevent any nipple pain and it easily turns into a bottle if your baby happens to wake up as you pump or right after you’ve pumped. In comparison to a lot of other ones, I actually found this one relatively easy to clean and set up.

I really wanted to like this pump, but the suction is just too weak. Twice as much time for half the milk that I can get with my Lansinoh (and twice the price!). The soft flange is really comfortable but it was very leaky.

I didn’t think I would use this pump very much but I actually use it the most out of my collection of pumps. It works so well! It gets out more than even my spectra wall pump and it’s so simple! I love the silicone flange that adjusts to your nipple size. If you experience any pain using this just put some lubricant on your nipple like nipple butter. I will probably buy a second one of these so I don’t have to wash it every day. I use it also after a feed to make sure I’ve fully drained each breast and to help with my supply because I barely make enough. This works great.

I have a wearable medela pump and that was working great for about 5 weeks - I was exclusively pumping and found washing all the parts tedious and sometimes my output would be affected by how the collection cups were placed (if you didn't have it exactly right, you wasted 30 minutes). If I forgot to charge the pump base, then I was tied down to a charging cable.I wanted a non-electric pump for middle of the night and I really like this one. I love that you don't have to worry about flange size, and it's actually faster to use on both breasts than using my electric pump. I also like knowing that I can control the speed, suction strength and it really empties my breast. I have recurrent blocked ducts on one side and I find that the electric Medela pump doesn't work well on it, while this manual pump is able to help drain well, even when the blocked duct is there.I keep it in the fridge after use during the day and wash it completely at the end of the day.It doesn't look like there are official replacement parts - but from looking at the price of non-official replacement parts, you're better off just repurchasing a new hand pump.Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend.

Husband bought this pump for me when I thought my milk supply was getting low. I have an electric pump and I’d be pumping 30-45 minutes to try to get 4-6oz. And the amount I was getting was decreasing and I thought my supply was drying up.Now with this manual pump I’m able to get 6oz regularly within 15 minutes. So even just the cut down on time for the same result is a huge plus! Definitely recommend to anyone thinking their milk supply is drying up or if you just want to be done pumping faster. (So good I bought another one to use at the same time)

So for reference I wear 24mm spectra flanges. I know with elastic nips you have to keep sizing down, I personally think it hurts doing that so I just deal with it and work with what I got and stick to the size that feels comfortable to me.That being said, this manual pump is amazing. I tried it out right away. I literally just got it 2hrs ago lol. And I love it! It emptied me out really well! My nips did get sucked down a little but that's okay because it goes right over the hole that goes down into the bottle. I don't have to lean over with this pump I can sit however I feel like. It doesn't squeak or make noises, very quiet. I was using the manual pump the hospital gave me, the Ameda Maya one and I wish I got this manual pump sooner! I'm generally an under supplier/just enougher and it takes me 40+min to get 2-4oz and I got 3oz in 20min with this manual pump so I'm so thankful my pump time can be cut down.I will say the silicone material is comfortable but definitely need to lube your girls up if you aren't used to the material it will tug at your skin a little or at least that's what it feels like what happened after pumping. But it's honestly not that bad I was just really excited and didn't use any lube before going in for it lol.Overall I absolutely recommend this pump!
