I live in kenmore about eleven miles north of Seattle. For twenty bucks you can't beat this antenna.I just stuck it on my t.V and then ran the scan and I got three local channels and 3 that program old tv shows. For the cost this outshines basic cable.AND i haven't even worked with moving the atenna around to see what other channels i get. IDitched basic cable TV about 6 months ago. And now I can get clear signals of channels. Especially Kiro 7 (a news channel).Easy. Cute. Clear directions.What's great that it is reminiscent of those antennas that you used to have back in the fifties and sixties.

Plug and play setup. Looks smart and easy location placement above the TV. Gets NBC which my old HDTV antenna couldn't reach, I think the amplifier helps there. Recommended!

I purchased the Philips Amplified HD Antenna (Hover version) without high expectations, as I’ve tried at least 10 different antennas from Amazon, only to return them for not working as expected. I live northeast of Tallahassee, where, surprisingly, the reception in my home is weak.At first, I placed the antenna on top of the TV, as many reviewers suggested, but I only received 4 channels, which was frustrating. I was about to return it when I decided to experiment a little. I found an unused phone camera tripod my wife had purchased and mounted the antenna on top of it. It fit perfectly!I positioned the tripod behind the TV and began adjusting it in different directions, scanning for channels each time I moved it. From 4 channels, I increased to 14, though major networks like CBS, ABC, and FOX were still missing. Determined, I kept fine-tuning the antenna’s placement. After two hours of trial and error, I finally found the perfect spot and unlocked 40 channels, including all major networks!Additional Notes:✔ The antenna works, but positioning is key—be patient and experiment with different angles.✘ The included Amplified Signal Booster was useless—it made no difference, so I tossed it.✔ A Philips LTE Filter (SDW1520/27) helped improve the signal slightly.If you’re struggling with reception, don’t give up too soon! Play around with the positioning, and you might be surprised at the results.

I bought this antenna with the idea of returning it. I carefully opened the package and remembered where parts went.I had purchased a smart TV and since I don't have cable, I knew I needed an indoor antenna. From Amazon, I got the first indoor antenna (about $35). Living in NYC, the antenna scanned for quite a few stations, but failed to pick local channels 7 (ABC) and 11 (CW). I moved the antenna all over the room with no results. I looked online and found these two stations were more difficult to pick up than the others. One site suggested getting old-fashioned rabbit ears.I ordered this one for HALF the price with the idea of returning it, since I didn't have a lot of confidence in it. At first, I was disappointed that the cord was only about 5 feet long. How could I move it around the room and also, there was no external power. Well...the antenna worked great. Channels 7 and 11 are coming in fine, and I hung the antenna on the wall, right above the screen.

This was a good choice of all the antennas I considered. Well packaged; quality look and feel; easy to install with good directions. I attached to the top of my TV and the slim design makes it almost disappear. Plus it doesn't take up counter or table space. Scanning for channels was simple with plain directions. Quickly found 70 channels with clear reception. I understand location makes a difference, but I don't know what percentage that plays here. The TV is on the ground floor of a two-story, on flat terrain, and no tall buildings nearby. It's a few feet from a big patio window and not close to large obstructions or appliances.

Simple to hook it up and really like that clamp on the Antenna base that lets you attach it to the top of your TV ... mine is not near any windows so it's best to get it as high as possible.It was not mentioned anywhere in the Product Description on Amazon is that the antenna can be rotated once it is attached to top of TV which REALLY helps get the BEST video reception!I did have some issues re-scanning my TV since I no longer have the original remote control and my "Universal" remotes did not have the correct Menu or System keys. But the Antenna does play the 57 channels that I already had on the TV from my old original channel scan so I'm happy.A very reasonable price for this antenna. Looks like it is well made so I hope it lasts.If I ever need another antenna, I would not hesitate to get another one of these.

Diseño practico, buen tamaño, se usa de forma normal directo a la pantalla, capta casi todas las señales de TV de la CDMX y decir casi es que hay unas 2 que las encontro y luego le cuesta sintonizarlas pero la mayoria sin problema.
