These chairs are super comfortable and the set up process was easy to follow, both chairs feel sturdy and will last me a long time. Not to mention they look amazing too !

Saw another reviewer say it took them about 6 hours to assemble two chairs. Now I understand why. Not super difficult assembly but having some extra tools is a big help. My biggest gripe is that even with the base inside the house on a perfectly level tile floor I can not get it adjusted so it is flat on the floor. So the chairs will rock on the uneven base. I loosened every joint and nut and got it to sit flat but as soon as I started to tighten up anything the base went out of level again. At one point it was unlevel enough the the adjusting feet unscrewed completely trying to compensate. This process is very time consuming and involves lots of trial and error. I think we are going to have to live with constantly adjusting the leveling feet. Otherwise good quality components and the chairs look good. As noted by others there are no written instructions or tips for things like leveling - just pictures. Some of the detail in the pictures leaves one guessing. I appreciate that there was one extra of every nut and bolt and washer needed and there were no missing pieces. I would buy again ....... and allow 6 hours for assembly at least for the first time. Might be able to do it in 4 now.

Took only 2 days to arrive. The appearance of the box was, Oh know. I expected damage but found none upon my inspection. After assembly I found it to be very sturdy. I then assembled the chair and it appeared to be very sturdy also and when I sat in it, I was surprised it was so comfortable. I am very pleased with the appearance of the set and feel it was a good buy.

I purchased these chairs in September 2023. I received the shipment and I have to say the chairs were not the easiest to assemble, but I followed the instructions and finally was able to put all four together. The chairs are comfortable to sit in. HOWEVER, we already have rust on the legs of the chairs and we've barely used them. One thing that was listed on the description is the chairs would not rust. We do not live in an area where rust is common due to salt water or snow. I have to say I'm dissapointed.

The only issue we had was needing a ratcheting tool to put the chairs together. The tools sent with the chairs would never have been adequate to put them together.Other than that, customer service was awesome, and the chairs seem very sturdy and comfortable!

I have been shopping for counter height chairs for our back deck. We wanted to see over the metal railing to enjoy our view. I found this product with a companion table from Phi Villa. We are very pleased with the way the chairs and table look and comfort of the chairs. A few of the reviews mentioned the assembly was challenging and I wanted to focus on how to make the assembly easier. Referring to the pictures below: 1)all of the connecting parts are bubble wrapped, which I like. 2)There are 9 different types of connecting parts/caps and each type had one spare. I sorted these 9 different part types into 9 small plastic containers. It was much easier to find the part needed during each step of assembly, which saved time and mistakes. 3)Instead of using the supplied 10mm wrench and Allen wrench, I used more professional tools - a 10mm wrench and a battery powered screwdriver with the correct size Allen wrench attachment. These tools made the assembly much quicker with less effort. 4) All frame and seat parts were securely packed and wrapped. None were damaged or bent. 5) & 6) chairs and table look great and are comfortable. Assembly tips for chairs: DO NOT tighten bolt/nuts until all are attached at the end of assembly steps. Referring to the assembly instructions sections in the supplied Use and Care Guide): a) tighten after steps 1 & 2; b) tighten after step 3; c) tighten after step 4; d) tighten after step 5 & 6. We are very pleased with the chairs and table set. Thank you Phi Villa!

We bought these chairs because they are “shorter”, not the normal 29 - 30 inches high. It is easy for us to get in and out of them on our balcony. The height puts our vision above the metal railing, exactly as we had hoped it would. Assembly: Sort out the parts first to ensure you have everything. I did this and saw the blister pack of screws, washers and nuts and did not count the pieces. I was 3 J bolts short!!!! Review the graphic instructions. No written instructions are provided. We (best with two people) assembled this on a table for ease of reach. Tools: I’m sure the small wrench provided would work, but oh so hard to use. I have a ratchet set with a 10mm socket . Leave the bolts a bit loose to help in lining up the final bolts in the legs. Then tighten all the bolts. Next, installing the swivel. Note the square steel plate goes under the assembled legs. See my photo. Tried to buy 3 bolts locally. Did not find the correct size. Contacted the seller by email. They sent an entire blister pack to me that arrived in 5 or 6 days. I gave the product 5 stars because the quality is excellent and assembly was okay to easy.
