I'm not a huge hunter, but this is a great speaker for any type of use! I've used it around the house, on the golf course, and have no trouble staying connected to the speaker even when I walk a good ways away with my phone. Great audio quality as well!

I bought this in August of 2024 for $100. I see they now sell it for half price. Used it a total of 2 times before it broke. The unit did work good the 1st couple of times though. Now it just shuts off unless the volume is on low. Their call app kinda sucks. You can find better and longer calls on youtube. Sound quality is poor but it still would call animals in. Its a shame that it just didn't last longer.

This is an easy to use alternative to the very expensive calls. I own a Fox Pro and the control unit stopped working. The control unit alone was priced higher than this call and I prefer the Blue Tooth options which gives me far more sounds. It takes a little practice to put together call lists, and the speaker has a minor hiss to it, but for the price, I could not have done better.

What I like about the unit is that it has two speakers at each end. The on-off button is excellent. The unit should not be turned on by accident while traveling. The water proofing of the unit it super.What I don't like about the unit is two fold.First there is no volume control on the unit. I know that volume can be controlled via the phone, but for those small volume bird songs, a control to increase the volume on the unit would be great.The second negative is: The unit has a battery case that has to be removed to change the 4 AA batteries. It is very difficult to do this when the battery case is connected to the main unit with very short electrical wires. Having "at least" one more inch to length of the wires would help. To solve this problem, having a rechargeable battery located within the unit that could be charged via a USB connection would greatly improve this product.

I was excited about this purchase. I used it for the first time today hunting and there was no Bluetooth at 40 ft. So I moved it closer to 30ft and still nothing. To make a long story short, I ended up HOLDING IT IN MY HAND. This was a HUGE disappointment. Coyote sounds on the APP are so so and work without cell service as long as you download them ahead of time. The App has about any animal sound you can imagine which is cool. Speaker is pretty loud in a quiet woods.

I don't even hunt. Originally I bought these almost as a challenge because I couldn't believe the bluetooth connection actually worked with my phone 450 feet away. I was expecting to take advantage of Amazon's generous return policy because it was hard to believe that this actually works but it's legit. Our house has a pretty large backyard and I've always wanted to be able to have surround sound bluetooth speakers in a specific spot to go along with a projection screen for outdoor movie nights but I've never found speakers that could reach the distance, let alone allow for true Dolby surround sound. I bought two of these and they actually do it! I'm not sure what technology they're using to get this because the furthest I could find before was about 100 feet.This is 4.5X that distance! I know because I legitimately walked the distance just to make sure! Now, I did discover that you HAVE to maintain a direct line with the speakers otherwise they stopped working after maybe 120-130 feet. So don't buy these if you need something that will reach that far unless it's out in the open. But if you're in need of a bluetooth speaker that legitimately extends wayyy beyond a normal distance out in the open, this is the ONLY option. Hope this helps!
